| Gunzfactorian | I've been booted for having a ping that is between 150-250. According to The Gamers Guide this ping range shouldn't impair the game in any way. Quote:
Anyways do you guys think that there should be a section on the site about the ping times on GunZ section at Ijji?

| Gunzfactorian | I attempt to kick anyone over 120 ping, les they're friendly. I'll vote Yes for anyone from 80+ though, les they're friendly. If you lag, get a better internet connection before you play GunZ, find people closer in your area to play with, or just be so dang friendly that people want you there. Lagless strategies (i.e. not moving much/running on your part) will have a lot people accept you regardless of the lag. |

| Gunzfactorian Commando | Sorry but all those factors are based on a decent server and probably a different game. This game is pvp, not the server. +the servers here are so terrible the description for the 250+ matches these servers supposedly ''50'' ping. Sorry but you also need to be educated. |

To the thread starter, honestly, you need to get your facts straight. The lag changes a lot from game to game, where did you get that guide from? Age of empires?? This is a FPS, if you go into pro rooms at CSS with 200 ping they won't even let you breathe, immediate kick, so yeah, the intention counts, all good, but not accurate info. LOL! Listen. Ping DOES matter. It's like time travel. IE if you'd have 250 ping to me, and I'd be shooting you with THE PERFECT 30 PING HEADSHOTS, you'd be already behind me and I'd be shooting a wall.

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Quote: Which means that on the SERVER it is recorded that you are still in the position you were 2 seconds ago, lets say you have 200 ping, your position is not where it is on your screen, but on the server's screen instead, which is where you were 2 seconds ago. Player-to-Player means that what the PLAYER sees is where he is right now, and you SEE where he was 2 seconds or ago, or w/e the time span is, but the server says that he has moved to a different position in the 2 second or w/e ping they have time span. | |
