Fatal Attitude

I have no clue when it started, but now, whenever I fight, it's never a "good fight". It's gotten to the point where battles, in my mind, are either too easy, or I present no challenge.

This ever happen to anyone else? Reckon it will stop my game from developing well?

Recu, there were only a few that were a small competition against you. One of them should've been (I hope) me.

And Gul... eh, I either have no challengers, or I have people who are challenging. I've never felt 'not a challenge' to others. Then again, the people I'm a 'challenge' to always whine that I keep running or what not.

Well, another way to look at it is the entire game is polarised - you're either too good or not good enough.

I don't really think so. Of course, when you just go in an expert channel and ask "who wanna 1on1 me?", it is quite difficult to find an opponent that has the same skills as you. Another fact that really makes it impossible seperate the people is the level. Level and skill don't have any relation in this game and you definitly cannot say "uh a level 3, what a nub". Some weaks ago a 7 entered our clan channel and just called us noobs and disappeared. Probably, because he WAS right (many of our members were low level and quite unskilled) and I just whispered him and asked for a 1on1. Yeah, my level 33 really ripped him to peaces but I think he has had the skill of a level 30, too. And I even met people that are only at level 14-17 which is their highest level and they fight a very good kStyle. If you think there are only good and only bad people, I really need to disagree.

I agree totally with the post abve this one. Because there are so many playing styles and hybrids in this game it is nearly impossible to find someone evenly matched with you.

jepp, you can try it on your own: Go to different channels (probably expert and free channels) and aks for a match. I met 2 people I asked and pwned them (yeaahhhh, I pwned them) and there was one guy that asked and he has pwned me then LOL

Exactly how I feel.
I havent fought someone on my 'level' in the longest time. They either kick my ass in a heart beat or vice-versa.

I think for me it's all around. There are an infinite number of people below my skill level, but there's still a ton of people that can beat me easily too. And there's also a few people that are pretty much at the same level as me. VillageIdiot's a good example. Most of the rounds I can win, sure, but he can get me good sometimes. And when I do beat him, he still puts up a hella good fight.

The only problem that I have is with newbs and my clan. All the little nubbers seem to give up around lvl 5 because it's too hard, so all we have are a bunch of longtime players that already have clans. Therefore I can't A) Recruit new members and train them to be as good or better than me. or B) Recruit fresh Gunz players who already have some good skill, who can present a challenge, so I can get better too.

And having a one-man clan means no clan wars/events/whatever.
