Disappointed...

I'm pretty disappointed in some of the upper ranked clans.

I hope you all have noticed that when you fight these 'pro' clans, you'll notice a lot of the teams will be made up of 3 north american players, and 1 european/brazilian/foreigner.

This makes me pretty pissed off.

So the other day, I was clan-warring a remaining anonymous top 100 clan. Like many up there, they often have one high pinged player that uses a rifle, or various other means of automatic firing.

After the usual tough 3v1's of trying to take down a 150+ pinged h-styler, we finally won the match. At the very end I said "You know your being used right?", and then proceeded to the exit screen.

The lagger then proceeded to meet me in my clan channel unexpectedly. He said "what do you mean?".

Here is how our conversation went:
"What do you mean?"

"I mean they are using your high pinged spraying just to win clan matches"

"lol no theyr not."

"Yes they are, how long have you been in the clan?"

" 2 days... "

" Exactly. Most of the other members have known eachother for a very long time. All they want is a high pinged player that sprays, because it makes for easier wins in a clanwar."

"lol ur just mad cuz your not godd enough to join".

And then he left.

This pisses me right off.

Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing wrong with clanwarring or even just playing with or against high-pinged players. What I'm angry at is the top clans bringing one high pinged sprayer into the clan-wars. It's a cheap, annoying tactic that just prolongs the length of the fights.

If your going to recruit european/brazilians/general laggers into your clan, make them clan war together, and stop intermingling teams on different continents.

Ok, i agree with you there. there is always the laggers that you get.

i once saw a 500 ping lagger that was 500 ping to EVERYONE.

heres his macro: "I know i lag, but at least i can kill YOU!"

i just got him in hallways and rsed >_<

but i agree that there is 50, 50 50, 300 pings out there. can i join pokeable on my alt? i wanna try using daggers, >_>

for now, i just kill who i can, then run from the laggers in cw's.
i hate those fking lagging fags, who when i get 10 kills in duel mode, they battle me then just run around til the time is up. pisses me off!

that's how some people are. actually, that's how a lot of people are, especially on GunZ. using people solely to win clan matches is second nature to them. some would call it strategy, but i don't see it that way. they're still taking advantage of a person's location just to win clan matches and be in the top 10 on an online game that will have no bearing in real life.

it's really pathetic.
but what can you do? you just have to maintain the fair way to play and not stoop to their level, hopefully in the process beat their sorry asses.

And that's all you can do... Spam them.

Problem is, when there are 3 other pro K-stylers guarding the sprayer, it gets tough. Which is the basis of their logic.

I still consider it a pathetically cheap tactic, and can't wait for people with these players in their clan to respond.

EU<->USA ping is a problem which you should have learned to deal with by now in gunz

other countries appear to be getting IP banned

its not difficult if practiced and certainly a skill to lead; much like aiming (as long as ping is reasonable <100)

And when I have to, I lead. As I said... I have nothing against European clans playing in clan wars. What I have a problem with is mixing 3 NA players with 1 EU player, as many top clans are doing.

I like South Americans preferrably, Venezulans(Touga, Unda), I use them in clan wars alot, they lead better than most people and never insult other countries besides Brazil, Chile, and Peru.
