I suggest they actually disconnect(somehow) people who use 'nstep'
It's complete bull****,

3v1 castle my team was chasing him, i was medding myself in the hallway of Castle he(some pinoy) nsteps behind me with a massive and kills me.

1v1 I hide in boxes (in town) to reload, once again nsteps behind me and shoots me in the back.

I'm on the small bridge in Castle, waiting to lunge someone who walks by, he(some mexican?) was like 3 metres away, i could feel the lunge. he freezes, pops up behind me and flips me. than he laughs "jajaha, pasablablabla"

I'm red hp, camping with a MS in castle, he(Euro) nsteps behind me, misses the PB so i dash abck and massive, but right after he missed the shot he nstepped away and back and shot me.

All this happened in 25 mins, 3 completely sepperate games.

Can SOMEONE do SOMETHING about this? -.-

yeah, ninja step is pretty bad. Not much that can be done about it though, because hit detection is done locally.

Rofl, I thought so too.
Anyway, more and more ppl are using it nowadays.
Annoying but apparently fun to do.
It should be banished though.

Yes, I agree that it should be a bannable offense.

What especially pisses me off i have actually argued against it before and had people defend it, claiming that it's basically the same a k style.

The truth is that ninja stepping is done with your modem and can be done in just about any online game (though with different effects) and is in fact something you can be banned be for in many games, i.e. Halo 2.

Try fighting nsteppers in attack and defend. Now that's annoying.

i dont think u understand people are just standbying or disconecting there modems momentarily though , they can have perfect ping to u and still do this. so i dunno why u are saying stuff like he(Euro) and he(beaner) stuff because it doesnt really matter what the original ping is. its not like they harnes there lag into one moment of spontanious lag combustion and use it to there advantage to sneak up behind u.

Know what I do? NEVER stop moving, no matter what. If you need to med, slashmed, but never let them have a chance to get behind you. Also, if you know they're ninja stepping, get a few steps behind where you used to be since thats likely where they're going. PB them in the back, insta pwnage.

What a good game does is it makes you stay in the same location if you disconnect. If GunZ was server based, that could be expanded so if you do enough damage to the guy who's disconnected while he's frozen in place, he dies.

it's annoying when some people know their getting gang banged then Screen shot, or when their getting stunned they screen shot, then say their on wireless.

Ninja step is real useful in CW's

Yo, Dagger, i know what you mean....german05 tried to nstep or screenshot me at the last round i was going to shoot him and he suddenly appeared on the other side

Another thing MAIET can fix. IF the server cannot connect a actual connection it needs to boot the player from the server. When you lose connection you wont be taking in player packets. The server should detect if the player is getting player packets if the guy isnt getting packets from any of the players the server needs to boot it...-sigh-
