Honor in this game is quite rare... Fortunately, it's not quite the same as honor in real life. Yes, this is a game, but there's still honor in play here. P.S. I'm American, if you're wondering why I took out the "u" in "honour"...

| Gunzfactorian Commando | Id say this as a scenario pretty much proves my point- A 12 year old gets picked on all day at school, he comes home. When he gets on the comp he is THE MAN (to himself) so he goes into games beats people and says HAHAHAH NOOBS YOU ALL SUCK I OWN YOU ALL MWUAHHAHA. get my point? Basically people bring their real life problems into a FUN GAME and ruin it for everyone else just because their real life has issues. But of course I expect some people to be asses, that could just be how they are in real life as well. The point of this is to show that its not really honour or dishonour more of just how a person is in real life, or how a persons real life can effect how he acts in this game.. |

Actually, that doesn't prove your point. Isn't the person being dishonorable by slinging useless slander? His reasons for being honorable or dishonorable in the game are trivial details. I could be extremely nice in real life, but be a total jerk in the game. That doesn't change the fact that I'm acting dishonorably. I could be a jerk in real life, but a respectable, kind person in the game. That doesn't change the fact that I'm acting honorably. In other words... In game, honor is probably determined by your actions and not the reasons for them. (As far as other people can see. If you're seeing how honorable you are, then you would definitely have to factor in your reasons for being "honorable" or "dishonorable".) It's simple, really... In real life, you may APPEAR "honorable" or "dishonorable", but that is different from BEING honorable or dishonorable. The same applies in this game. (In Gunz... Being honorable and acting honorable is honorable. Being dishonorable and acting dishonorable is dishonorable. Being honorable and acting dishonorable seems dishonorable, but it is honorable. Being dishonorable and acting honorable seems honorable, but it is dishonorable. ...in life, it's also similar...)

![]() | Honor is knowing when to respect someone as well as when to be a total "Dikhead." EU and Sand Inggers don't belong in USA ONLY games. Therefore, you have every right to be a dikhead to them and call them names and kick them and then flame them about their illiteracy. On that note, people who play in TDM's and "don't try" and make their team lose and say "weeee" after they die do not deserve any respect. They might as well be EU. On the other hand, if someone is good, and he beats you with skillz (luck aside), he deserves your respect. You should not call him noob or laugh at him. Losing to someone cannot precede the calling them noob. If you want to call someone a noob honorably, the least you can do is beat them. Afterall, if they are noob, it wouldn't take much effort would it? Honor is also when you invite hax0rz into your clan, simply because they are your friends. And you nor your other clan members get in on the hacking. A game is how you want to play it. It is irrelevant whether or not you take the game too seriously. Serious players tend to be the better ones. If you have no desire to get good, then sure, go around losing to honorable people and call them lifeless nerds. Don't let the haters get to you. They just jealous. |
