![]() | Please ignore the cheesy title. MAIET has finally begun to succeed where it fell short so often in the past. Guntrix has initiated communication with the userbase. Guntrix, upon finding the GunzFactor website, has proceeded to inform the community (which he has now happily been reunited with) of all the recent problems. This acknowledgement of the problems to the community is the first huge step for MAIET towards making a better company with more successful communications and interactions with the userbase. Firstly, Guntrix has mentioned that MAIET is aware of the problem. He has convinced the players that MAIET knows there are troubles with GunZ, and so now they can progress with fixing these problems. Secondly, tangent to the admission of problems within GunZ, he has comforted and reassured the users that MAIET is trying their hardest to fix these problems. One of the best bits of news we have is that Guntrix did not specify any deadlines as to when the problems would be solved. Thank goodness. In addition to the necessary acknowledgement of the problems, and the reassurement of solutions, he has proceed to even detail the problems and expressed to us why fixes are taking such a long time. For the first time in MAIET's history they have successfully bridged the gap between their staff and their users. They didn't even have to give us a complementary map this time. Of course, you could also count Venister, when he said that Guntrix would bring much aid to the iGunZ interactions, also as unadultered truth, because he has proven that he will indeed be alongside us throughout International GunZ's progression. As can be seen in the newest addition (http://www.gunzfactor.com/forums/official_maiet_ijji_announcements/) to the GunzFactor forum, Citizen has prepared an entire segment of the forums for Guntrix's announcements regarding the development, and hindrances of the iGunZ service. In a brief recap of the announcements made by Guntrix up to this point, he has started threads regarding the clan-closing issue, the blank-server-list issue, the loading-screen issue, and he has made an extensive post on the current problems that the MAIET team is facing. For an explanation of why MAIET has to try so hard and yet often find themselves behind, read http://www.gunzfactor.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3694. Citizen has also created a thread that will house suggestions on the gameplay of GunZ, and now maybe the suggestions will be heard and considered with some consistency. If one thing is for certain, Guntrix's now-proven interaction with the players of International GunZ is certainly, we can assume, a foretelling of progress. We are extremely glad that Guntrix is taking the time to ascertain the users' opinions, and we hope that his induction into MAIET's team ushers on a new era of successful communication between the GunZ staff and their users. Finally, I must applaud Guntrix on finally taking the initiative to simply explain to the users what is wrong, and why they cannot fix it as quickly as we wish. The explanations of the problems and the details are perhaps the most motivating, as they are proof that MAIET really wants us to know that they are working on GunZ. As Guntrix said, "shlt happens," and now hopefully it won't happen quite as often. Welcome to the community, Guntrix. -Tophat --- appearing with the Astra Herald soon. ![]() Last edited by Tophat; 03-07-2006 at 09:35 PM. |

| Gunzfactorian Hero | I'm not completely confident in Maiet at this point, but Guntrix definatly makes the future look brighter. We'll just have to see how it goes. Maybe Maiet will be the same as before, except they tell us what they're doing this time, which isn't a big step up. Hopefully Guntrix's presence is not just a passive one. |

![]() | Well at least he has started doing something that MAIET has never done before, that is, tell us what the hell is going on. Honestly that will keep me content for now, though in the long run I agree with NSMan, I hope he actively pursues ammending GunZ for our needs and problems. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | A very nice, detailed article, Tophat. Good luck on the GF Herald. : ) Yes, I’m glad to see Guntrix on here, and actually, well, posting. This is very helpful in creating a MAIET-friendly environment. I’m guessing a lot of people have stopped playing Gunz because they thought MAIET dropped off the face of the earth or something. Oh, contrare! In fact, they were purely unable to communicate with the mass of us. Now that he’s here, I hope that people will shape up and not be so ill-hearted to MAIET. That really hurts their courage to continue working on this wonderful game. Now, I don’t expect him to post every single day, but it would be nice if Guntrix would display information around once every week or two. |

![]() | Ryoku's actually right. I was just getting disgruntled at the continued lack of information from Guntrix or MAIET at all. Even if they had just posted info on gamengame.com or on their main page it would have been helpful. If you read the editorial I wrote about MAIET not doing so well, Guntrix basically covered every point because he actually read it, AND what other people on the board had to say, before saying anything at all. That was very smart, and it enabled him to basically appeal to everyone who had complaints on that board at all. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | Hehe. woot I rock. =P I agree too. It was bugging me though I said nothing much that MAIET always was so quiet and never really talked. I know they had a lack of communication skill swhen it came to English but still... They coulda tried mroe I think. but oh well. Past's nothign to dwell about. I'll just hope it doesn't start again.
