what controls should i change to if i was to use numbers?

I use basic controls, that QEF or so setting is good too I heard, there´s some discussion about key usage for k-stylers in some other thread I recall.

I use E to pull out the Gun and Scroll wheel to change back to sword.

I find it awfully hard to change weapons and shoot at nearly the same time with my mouse scroll. My main move is flashstepping, so I wouldn't be able to last without my number keys. <3

i use scroll to go down to gun and Q to get back to sword real fast works well its like less than a second slower but always using scroll is like 3 seconds slower lol

I use the default wads. Then i use q for gun and e for sword. THen 1 and 2 and 3 for the other things.

I use default. It's a matter of confort. I mean, i guest the bst is to get used to q & e as they are nearer to your fingers. But i got long fingers and I m an excessive gamer.

I ll recommend default and i would change:
weapon 1 (melee) ---> q
weapon 2 -----------> e
weapon 3: leave it at or change it to 2.

i use my scroll.. and u can't tell the difference b.t the numbers or the scroll.. i've mastered the scroll =/
