Is the fun gone?

That, my friends, is the question. Recently, I've fought many people. The problem is that most of them were PURE K-STYLE. Sure, it's fun fighting the same style OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER but... It gets old - quickly.

Today I fought a level 31. I was thinking, "Well, he's probably another K-Styler like all the others." Boy, was I wrong. He actually HID! HID, I tell you! Why am I emphasizing this? It's because I had a great time fighting this guy! We both hid around corners, walls, preying on each other. He's take one bad step and, BOOM!, shotgun in the face! I stepped out and, BLAM!, owned by a shotgun. Either way, the compliments flew around and we both had lots of fun. It made me think, "This is how Gunz should be! Not slashshooting all day...". You know what's really cool too? We used moves from all styles and more! A slash shot here, a rolling shot there - it was just UNIQUE! Of course, I ended up losing most of the time... (Dual Rockets and Dual Shotgun...) Did I care? Nope. I had my fun and that was all that mattered.

I'm posting this to let you guys know that K-Style isn't the only way to go in Gunz. Sure you'll be like 75% of the community now, but I recommend you try to avoid doing so. I'm not saying you need to be E-Style, or D-Style, or L337 Styler - whatever! This is similar to Tsuteto's topic but I'm asking a question. Is the fun gone? For me, it's starting to fade away. The fun people to fight are starting to disappear. What we need is people that are UNIQUE! People that are fun to fight, not just people who are like all the others... I respect you guys who own in K-Style, that's for sure. I'm just saying, "I've fought this battle many times before."

obviously u probably can't SS which in ur case would make it OLD and unjoyable..

Fun hasn't left my end .. and i highly doubt it will..

i enjoy owning kids..

What are you talking about? I can do K-Style moves easily. The problem isn't that I'm getting owned - the problem is that the people I fight are all the same. I can't differentiate most of the players in Gunz now. What am I talking about? I'll give you an example... I join 2 on 2 team death matches quite often. At LEAST 80% of the people I fight are pure K-Style.

By the way, slash shooting isn't "uber" or "L337" as most people say it is. It's fancy, showy, and neat but it's hardly better than normal shot. It's just odd how some people are like, "Omg, I need to take my sword out or I can't shoot!"

dont let someone elses choice of style.. make them a mirror of others..

I'm not making anyone change styles. I'm simply stating that K-Style is a fad at the moment and I don't have as much fun killing them because they are all too similar to me. Honestly, how many K-Stylers stand out for being UNIQUE and not GODLY?

In jgunz there seems to big a fairly big variety of tacticts... Pretty much everyone kstyles, but there's a lot more strategy involved than in some of the games on igunz...

I don't know it's just a matter of opinion. When I stop having fun with this game then I'll stop playing it.

ok.. so i guess i should become UNIQUE.. by tumbling into the walls and slowly walking during a battle..

rather then use an advantage of SS, BF, HS and so forth..

ya that'll make me so UNIQUE... matter fact i'll be come so UNIQUE to the point i'll have a high death count.

Hehe... I'd like to try that some time. I play jGunz at times but I really do like iGunz. I love K-Style, if you didn't get that already. Some people just need more variety or it's like fighting a bloody robot or NPC. You actually KNOW what they're going to do. That = bad.

Edit: Eye, you don't seem to be getting the point. K-Stylers can move however the heck they want. It's just becoming old because I know what they're going to do most of the time. Cookie cutter players are too common. Also, I USE K-Style moves. What part of that do you not understand?

This is exactly what I'm talking about. K-Style is NOT a godly style! It's a good style, don't get me wrong. I'm simply stating that people like you (No offense.) are too common... By the way, it is sort of a fad. If someone came up with a new style that became more popular than K-Style, that would make K-Style a fad.

Edit: King, if you're not being sarcastic, that's something I would do. Have any of you K-Style gods tried going into a game with only a dagger? Have you ever tried only using a single pistol? You really don't need to, I'm just saying... It's bloody hilarious and unexpected.

like i said.. no one is riding the bandwagon.. we all are using a style that is well known yet effect as well as proven to gain a quick and reliable kill.

and my choice is KSTYLING.. which i know i'm good at.

Then K-Style... This post is a fair question asking if K-Style is taking over Gunz and making it one-sided. I'm not trying to insult anyone's style here. If you have fun K-Styling, K-Style. It really doesn't matter to me. I'll repeat this question. What K-Styler stands out for being unique and not godly? Name him.
