Kodachi Quickslash

How many people here use it? And have you developed any interesting new uses for it? I'm currently testing it out as an anti-bfly mechanism. Has anyone else found some nifty uses for it?

Why does it have to be a Kodachi?

Is there that much difference between Sword and Kodachi quick slash?

Sorry i do not know much about Quick slash so i cannot give my input.

Every time I use Quickslash (or voidstep as the community likes to call it), I get called a hacker then I get kicked from the game. So I haven't been using it lately.

I've seen it used to defend the doorway in attack and defend games...

i never use it, but i know how. i think it is only good when you massive. and you have to know when to massive, so you have the time to void.

I use it frequently. The quickslash for kodachis is about twice as fast as it is for sword.

It's not an anti butterfly method. Not an effective one anyway.

It's good for cornering sprayers. It's better than butterfly in this situation.

And interesting use for it is to wait at a corner where you know someone is following you, start it up when that person is near the corner and keep doing it. It messes up their rythem and usually leaves you at a good start to killing them. They'll expect it if you use it too many times though.

Oh, and if you can instafall well enough, you can juggle people with this right away.

I guess you don't know how to bypass blocks. It gets funny if you get to know someone's pattern and play them like a piano.

In my expriences, voidslash is too fast for blocks, except the first hit.

It's practically just holding the mouse button down to swing the sword, and just as your character goes into charging position, you let go and swing again.

It's faster than normal swinging, sorry it's hard to explain without seeing it.
