| GunZFactor Founder | The GunZFactor Honor System The GunZFactor Honor System works very similarly to the "reputation" systems found on other boards... with some differences. The Honor System is unmoderated - honor can be given or taken away by anyone for any reason. Although it is unmoderated, we do have some guidelines that you can choose to follow. You will want to give good or bad reputation based on the individual post, and not simply because you like the person or dislike them. Asking for honor is not against the rules, but is not recommended. Asking for honor will probably result in people giving you -honor. Earn it and you'll keep it. Good reasons to give someone positive reputation would be:
Good reasons to give someone negative reputation would be:
But like I said earlier, these are just guidelines. There are no rules to honor and reputation. How the system works: Two easy steps. 1. Click on this tab at the bottom of each post: ![]() 2. Rate the post either positive or negative and leave a comment. Comments are anonymous, but Admins can read them. You can check your most recent reputation comments left for you in your user CP. | Gunzfactorian | Well, this is really cool... But it would been better if that persons account name remained after he + or - repped you... Much of that is because people will often De-repp you for no reason :S ... Otherwise, this is really nice ![]() |

| Banned | It was that way before, and it just caused to much drama from every single -rep left even if it was deserved. Anonymous reputation is a much better system, as the reasons for distribution reputation points is left solely to the discretion of the individual users. Random or undeserved negative reputation will be easily reversed if you are a positive contributing member that posts meaningful and helpful posts. Or you could just go visit the rep swapping threads that completely bypass the original intent of reputation marks.. I think the reputation swords take up to much space on the sidebar. A person with maxed out swords will have their reputation stretch their post past the signature size limit. I would request a smaller reputation gauge, or an increase in vertical signature sizes. There is wasted space going unappreciated. |

| Gunzfactorian | Hmm.. maby, but when people - repp you for small unesesarry things, it can be a huge pain in the ***... I`ll say, let the Activity play more on the rep (yea i know you can repp other more when you post more a,s,o) .. But if you have been really nice, and somone - repp you and it remains so untill somone + repp you again.. Yea, i know that i repeat myself.... but however... i got "dishonour" when i made my first post after i joined, and everything i did was to post a video of me playing, like most of the normal people here.. Preatty unfair and werid.. But i like the system, so it was a really creative idea, ^^ Gogo GunZfactor :P |
