I think the image determinds how popular you are in the forums, kinda like a rank. See the little scale icon below your avatar and info, you can use that to increase someone elses fame. Ive seen this befor ein other forums and trust me, do NOT abuse it if you want to keep this feature.

At last. I suggested this before and Citizen said definately no -.-

Anyway, I have plenty of experience with rep meters. However i prefer them when they are like on this forum. Index - My Public Profile

Please note I have 11 boxes or rep (full). I prefer meters rather than a changing image. The longer your rep meter the more your rep. However with a changing image people aren't necessarily going to know if you have high or low rep.
