Unknown- has a spectacular aura about.

Default Making Gunz almost lag/spike free.

X- trap and other bandwidth hogging applications are open when you're about to play GunZ.

The solution for it is simple, without the need of closing any other applications.

Via this method, you can "PAUSE" processes and will only be resumed if you manually open the application and start to use them.

Hit CTRL + ALT + DELETE, and click View, update speed, "PAUSED". This will pause all processes NOT in use. Set GunZ to REALTIME priority (If your computer can handle it) And proceed to play gunz without the use of all the other processes making you spike / hogging bandwidth.

Happy gaming. ^^

(You must have administrator priveledges to do this.)

Edit: With the new patch and MRB being unable to work, I r in a happy mood yesh? Shots r liek registeringz nao!1one 10/10 aimzZ!

you guys do know all that does is pause the graph of cpu usage in taskmanager right? (the pause thing that is)
the realtime priority will obviously improve gunz performance as it will tkae priority over other programs wont help with bandwidth issues though

Does not, I did a tracert to an opponent with this off / on and the ping latency was much lower while on the pause option.

Edit: we both had it on pause and realtime for gunz.

Edit: Oops, I forgot to close the task mgr. Forget about the view stuff.

Fancy.

I'll try it out tonight.

I've been setting GunZ to realtime sometimes with minimal difference, but maybe pausing others will help

Sorry but don't listen to this person. Pausing dosnt do what he says instead it pauses your taskmanagers update speed. So unless you play gunz eith your task manager open you will see no diffrence what so ever. You can't even edit gunz priority as xtrap will count this as trying to modify gunz and reset it to normal. You can how ever set ztrap to lowest without any problems.
