Identity Theft?

I dont know whether this is the right place or even the right forum to post this so if any mods dont approve feel free to delete , but i think this is an important issue.

i have noticed that many people want to play KgunZ and to Play it they need a KSSN (Korean Social Secrurity Number) and obviously to get this you need to be Korean...Duh....

so what people have been doing is guessing KSSN's for a couple of hours untill they get one then using it to play KgunZ.

in my opinion this is stealing someones identity...
what if the person who owns the KSSN want to play KgunZ? they wont be able to...

its basically pretending to be someone else.

is it stealing? Fraud?

what do you think?

It's illegal and if they catch you doing it, you'll be in a lot more trouble than just being banned in a game.

Using another KSSN other than your own is fraud, therefore you can be jailed.

Just because someone guessed a persons Kssn, doesnt mean they will in. You need to put the excate name of the person to whom the Kssn belongs too.

Guessing someone's KSSN is like a hacker guessing for a system's password, although hackers have more sophisticated approaches than just 'guess.'

Yes I agree this is a important issue..but gunzfactor was really made for people play international gunz.

ok yea i have something similarish to this topic, my account was hacked twice by a evil freind's brother of mine. Like when i do proj, or parties, i would go play gunz at his house. So obviously, he either copied my log in name, or i htink just remembered. So 1 week ago, he somehow hacked the password,(duno how cuz i usually change it after i go to someone's house) so i pmed guntrix, and he helped me change the pass and the email. So i change the name email and password, one day later i got hacked AGAIN. omg im so pissed, ive beeen waiting 8 hours for guntrix so far, where are you gunnntriixxx. i feeel so lonley with out my characters.

ps. the last time i went to his house was like in June.
ps. The last time i went to his house to do a project was in Feb.

So it could be possible that there's this some sort of password guesser.

Well stealing KSSN can be jailed, as been said before. But I bet not many people would waste their time guessing people's KSSN unless they're retards.
