So much for the "pros"

Alright, so I was fighting Tsukasa, usual stuff, you know, just a TDM. So I kill him and two of his other teammates, then he starts saying I spike. I look everyone's ping for a good solid 30 seconds, and everyone's ping is steady. I check my actual ping going out via another program, and based on what it says, it varies about 40 to 60. Alright, all good. So I go back in game, kill Tsukasa again, and some person named Girl, and they start complaining it up about "spiking," even though I've never had a person in my life tell me that I spike, and I have absolutely nothing different on my computer than I did yesterday when I played GunZ all day.

So eventually the game progresses as we argue, they TK me about 8-10 times while I'm talking. No big deal, right? Wrong. They then begin to brag about how I have 7 kills and 13 deaths, even though I got TKed for the majority of those deaths.

What the hell, I'm no longer believing anything on forums about some people being "pro." I sure as hell know I'm not one of the best players, and I know none of these idiots have a chance for it, either.

I should just fight AryaVarwin and see what a real "pro" is like, hopefully she really is good, unlike some other idiots, and hands my ass back to me, because I want a challenge. I'm not expecting to win, or even get close. This isn't a direct challenge to her, I'll post in her thread on a whenever-I-feel-like-it basis.

But mainly what this thread was about, is damn, unless someone does REALLY good for a REALLY long period of time, don't consider them pros. Stop spreading dumb rumors on the forums about who's the best player. The only way we could really know if have a 1v1 between each and everyone of them, or have them form teams with each other and do a 4v4 TDM, like the way MLG works in a game such as Halo. The thing is, even then, it's faulty, but that's the closest thing we're gonna get. The 4v4 will have to be evened repeatedly, and it'll still be hard to judge who's really better, and who's having a bad day, but it'll help.

So, if anyone is willing, it'd be nice of some form of league of some sort were started up in order to see just who really is a pro and who's just a "pro." I heard Recursive attempted this before, but it didn't really work out. I'm sure if we can all agree upon some rules, it could work much more efficiently. For example, if possible, have everyone(good) meet up at a certain time for the tournament, and have it in round-robin form. Sure, it'd take a while, but it'd solve this dumb "problem" people(including me) argue upon, which is just who really is pro and who's just a "pro," as I've said before.

Post any comments you feel like on this, and sorry if it's in the wrong section, I wouldn't know. Post critique, compliments, things to improve it, or whatever the heck you want, but if you absolutely have to flame me, do it in a private message, so we won't have to get everyone involved in your hatred for me -.-

Who ever said any of the people you mentioned palying were pros? I must have missed that memo. On top of this no one tries in a pub. On top of that, dont call people "pros", they arent "professionals" because they dont make any money, try "good", "badass", or "not suck", its much more accurate.

This is a forum. Mostly populated by people who think they know how to define skill but dont, and sparesly populated by people who have actually done something, so I wouldnt trust anything you hear on it. If you want a challenge, why dont you try and join a good clan. Since you just recently started playing, I dont think you have that much right to moan.

Start at the bottom like everyone else, as you are moving through you can make your own judgement instead of listening to the tards that roam these boards.

I don't like people like that. You know, you can press "v" to ignore everyone, lol. Or you can listen to everything they say and not respond.

Anyways, I know what you're talking about. I was playing a cw today. & I'll even admit that she was pro, her name was corkey or something like that. & she had a level 53 or something. She was really good. But I guess not good enough, and so I was able to kill her a few times. (Not 1v1, but like, during the cw) & she would always type "....." after she dies. Or call people "noobs" and she called me a "lagger" because I had a slightly higher ping then everyone else (most likely because other programs like firefox may have been running on other users like my brothers' on my computer) and wanted to kick me. Moral of the story, is that she can be pro, but definitely a sore loser, poor sport, egotistical "pro." & I just don't like people like that.

Rather, I started the day I remember it coming out, June 4th, 2005. The earliest saved screenshot I have is like June 20th, so you'll just have to kinda take my word on that. I remember the second update being on June 10th, 2005.

Well your join date and your sig say otherwise. And tbh the way you talk you act liek you are relatively new, and therefore word not taken. Anyway, just because you kill someone doesnt make you better than them. You can kill anyone who is a pro, its not a big deal. Did you do 100% of the damage in that cw? Come on, you all should know better than that. If you ever fought them 1v1 seriously, they would trounce you.

Joining the forums and joining the game are two different things, the forum didn't come out the day the game was released, so try using your brain a little more next time, k? I fail to see how he acts like he's "new," you forget he's from FFR, much different attitude over there than here.
