Leadshot Discussion

There is a poll.
It is just for yes/no if you ATTEMPT to leadshot.

Posting is for why you leadshot or why you dont.
And how far you personally feel you have to lead to kill people.
(lists with ping ranges work if you feel the need)

For my input:

No I don't lead.
With the exception of people 120+ ping.
Then i shoot anywhere on my screen that they are, just not their body.

I find it hard too.

I feel people who can't aim have no problem leading.

I lead at around 80-90 ping with shotguns. I gave up on revolvers a while ago, since even when someone stood still they took 6 hits to the body without dying. I check his ping: 70.

I try to lead up to 200 ping. After that, it's just RS spray hoping you'll hit something >_>

I lead quite well with revolvers.

I just can't lead 90-150 :(

I lead most of the time for my revs. Even 80 pingers have shadow lag now. It's a big pain in the ass to lead for higher than 100+, so I just find an enclosed area to pwn their asses.

I'm still working on my revolver leading, I find it smarter right now to just try to hit...

because it could only be a little while longer before I don't have to lead anymore, and you all die very quickly.

I lead if they lag...But I usually kick them anyways (The rules of my game: 4 vs 4 100+ ping/TK/AFK = KICKED)

The essence of leading is:
A. Predicting their movements(watch them move)
B. Forcing them to do as you want.

This makes movement predictable. Since players can move fast, at 70-150 ping, I do the exact same lead. I just shoot them normal if they are idiots and go straight or in tight zig zags. Other wise I aim like 1-3 upper bodies right or left, depending on their movements. Yes, I use upper bodies, collar bone and a bit below. Its still a head shot, and it is 200x more accurate, and books me quite a few kills. If they are sideways to me, I aim 2-4 widths if they are dashing or tumbling, and 1 width if they are just walking back and forth.

This takes a bit of practice, but once you get your first kill without a "Hit" marker, you will be laughing and dancing
