School project on game hanging

Ok, Im a Singaporean. I have a project on game lagging/hanging and found out that the network servers of ours and the game's have something to do with this. I just need to find out where Gunz's 5 game servers are located at. TY TY TY to everyone in advance

lol seriously tho, i would imagine they are in korea, since MAIET is based there, and all servers has the same lag if u will, why would u buy a server based in EU if u live in korea?

Unless someone knows this, you would need to pray for guntrix to reply, Since MAIET doesnt really have a team to deal with questions etc

Sorta what Mal said. The game runs client to client, not client to server like most games. It doesn't matter if you live close to the server, but if you live closer to the person you're playing with.

You should try and jump on server 5, honest, its pro. You will never wanna come off of it again xD

And even tho the game is P2P, it still needs a hosting server.

I think the server is only for the listing of rooms and such, in other words it gathers the rooms and gives them names, but when you play, you don't actualy connect to the server, your jsut routed to the other players, or somethign like that... i'm not an expert, just my thoughts

The parrots (butter) do, mods are nub.
Anyways, i see the gunz servers like routers, you connect to them, and they connect you to another player, and there you go and have s3x with each other... might be wrong though.
