Flipping: The Census (Gladiator based)

Flipping has generated a great controversy among the gladiator community. Some of us hate the move and believe it should be changed/removed. Others think its just part of the game like any other move and that it should be used according.

You decide...

Change. Changing the hitbox so it's immune to slashes would be nice, or at least any effects other than damage from slashes.

Few months back i would of said its part of a game, but now noticing how "glad skills" equalls the same as jumping around with skyblocking and massive switching just for the purpose of waiting for flips, which is really hard to slash out from due to lag, or the massive. It Should be removed now.

Agreed 100%. Cerb got it programmed in everyones head that flipping should only be done after a sucessful stuning attack. Thus, now everyone tries there hardest to stun the whole match. If you flip them while they are skyblock whoring, they get pissed off about flipping without stunning them.

As for changing... If you could either make us unslashable in mid air, or allow us to slightly move (IE single dash) after a sucessful safefall, it would completely nullify the move.

I was SO close to clicking the pizza one. But no, I think it shoudl be changed because well... it's gay I don't have to say anything more, because words cannot express how gay people can get with this move.

I really dislike the whole stun fad thats recently swept the gladiator community. However, the stun moves are still apart of the game, and you cant tell the masses how to play it. If you dont like it then dont use it, I dont.

Its not ironic that the general mass choose to be a copy, theyve never really done any thing for themselves. Its just generally accepted that Cerb was the one who started he whole trend, so its slightly comical when he posts against it.

I mean I understand your point, it's well taken, he uses it, yet dislikes it etc... But I mean the whole idea... FOMG cerb's fault people flip is just idiotic.

And besides... everyone can make a mistake... what about instafall... whoever introduced that sucks monkey nuts right? It's worse than instakill if done right... and easier...

*ahem* Hitler part aside, yeah. I just find this as a follow up to the K-Style thing that everyone takes a part of.

The thing that people hate, it seems, to me, is that when people do it, it's not considered "etiquette". To me, that means that Flipper isn't following Player's "rhythm". It's getting broken, which we all know when the rhythm gets broken, it sets a nerve.

People will eventually find ways to counter it.

No one is really blaming any one person here. Hymn and I made mention of Cerb just to give due credit, but to say he stuck a knife to people throats and forced them to overuse a move is just idiotic.

The playing system of gunz is ever evolving, but can it reach a point to where
its so effective it cheapens the effect? I think so.

I was refering to cerbs old philosophy of "Flipping should only be allowed after a stun". Its just dumb.

Some people think bowing is dumb... do what you need to do... bow is ofcourse more serious but still the point is that doesn't matter what you think is dumb, one's ethics will not meet others.
