A little bird once told me "GunZ has to be the only shooter I've seen that requires micro, man"

So.

In honour of "How X is your Y?" threads...

very very uber RTS FTW

now there are 2 terms used one is micro and the other macro i forgot which one is which but one of them means controling the units in battle and switching between units to use abilitys spells moving hurt units to the back or healing etc im pritty sure this one is micro

macro is controling reasources and things happening at your base keeping the flow of units going while gathering reasources and useing your micro on the battle front

Neither of these are used in gunz
gunz just uses forms and fast fingers if gunz has micro then you may as well say touch typing is micro

No, micro comes from RTS games, mainly Starcraft, and is an abbreviated form of micromanagement, which means, in the videogame world, controlling many different units in combat.

Damn.

I know it means micro-management. It's what turned me to the darkside in B&W.

And, actually, it means dealing finely-tuned specific (specious? harhar) commands to select units.

You know, rather than just sticking your rally point on the enemy base and churning out zerglings for, like, ten minutes straight.
