Gunz: The Glitch

I don't know why I haven't really thought of this before...

This games just one big glitch fest.

Don't get me wrong. I'm under no bias. I've been contently ignorant k-styling for over a year.

But finding the wave of boredom come upon me everyday in Town TDM's...

I realize... "This games just one big glitch fest".

I've switched to D-Style. But, I'm now abusing a move, that I'm now comfortable with enough to fight avid K-stylers, just as I was.

This move, yoyoquarter, incorporates a dash with a gun, a shot, and two more dashes with your dagger out.

What's that? The hhs of dagger you say?

I can abuse this move to the point where I can fight kstylers just as easily as if I were fighting them with a sword.

The aim is easier : It's shot is put in one dash instead of the transition between too.

The dodge is easier: K-stylers aren't as "used" to shooting dagger movements that are as quick as them.

(although I argue quicker)


So I realize I'm no better than them once again.

I'm abusing another glitch to get the better of my opponents.


I refuse to go e-style, I'm in love with melee weapons in gun games.



Yoyoquarter seems like less of a glitch than any Kstyle move...

Just as fast... (maybe not rhs ~.~)
Can be abused... (just like kstyle)

Gunz doesn't have any formal competitions or authority, so no one can decide which glitches can or cannot be used.

Unlike other games like Starcraft where a certain glitch can be deemed illegal in pro matches.

If they wanted to fix the glitch they'd just make it so that everytime you switch to a new weapon you have to wait a second after.

Also sometimes glitches make the game a bit funner and sometimes the glitches are just funny to see or do.

u have put it well in 3 words :

Gunz : The glitch

but I guess its too late to change anything. Ppl love the k style and its here to stay.

So you got 2 options to survive in the game :

1) Join the crowd (and maybe u will survive the rampaging key spamming )
2) Go E style (like I did...and care nothing about whether who kills you...just enjoy playing!!)

I believe Guntrix at one point stated "K-styling has been changed to be a part of the game" or something like that, meaning its no longer a glitch but a part of the actual game.

The glitches in Gunz makes it all the better. If the gameplay was as refined as it was meant to be, I probably wouldn't be playing. They became part of the gameplay.

Without the glitches, this game would be just like Counter Strike or Wolfenstein, that's why we play it, don't you think?

CS and Wolf dont have :
dash
melee
wall climb
wall run
block

this is wat makes the game unique...not glitches (well..that does too :P)
