| Newbie | Hi, this is my first post. Just incase someone doesn't know (hey, there could be someone new out there), tking is talk killing, when you kill someone who is talking. Anyway, I can't find a real good reason why not to tk, yet it is treated as noobish. However, I would like to hear individual reasons why it is wrong, to be treated with such harshness. |

![]() | I don't tk somebody, unless they have 500+ ping or they have tked me. Tking, in my opinion, is a really cheap way to get kills and takes no skill at all, so I don't really bother. I like to earn my kills, not have them given to me. |

![]() | TK'ing is right but its common courtesy not to Example being - someone with a dog goes to a no dogs allowed park Its common courtesy not to go on a frenzy on them and yell "you ***in dumbass no dogs allowed here" instead you would tell them nicely if they could please leave. That same rule applies in games. Simply put, if you wanna tk, expect to get tk'ed back eventually - or even kicked/flamed |

| Gunzfactorian Commando | TK is fair game in my eyes. If you want to chat with your friends, go to a different game or go take cover. Don't go into the middle of a fight and turn your back to all the action just so you can talk with your friend. I was fightning a guy once in Dungeon at the pillars. Really good, it was a challenge too. He goes off near that cliff and starts to type to some guy who was like "oh hey [name here because I can't remember it]". I unload on him in the head with rifle shots and he goes "omg wtf noob you tked me". I respond with "Don't type in the middle of a duel with somebody. I'm not going to wait on you to chat with your friends, and I am sure the people who are waiting after having been killed aren't willing too either." So he goes on and flames me for a while and I play on. I think he got bored and left after a while. BUT! If you have established a PRIVATE dual with somebody, then I don't really think it's cool to do. But if this is a game with other people, then you can go screw yourself with your morals. I don't care. I play to win. Not to hear you whine and go emo about how TKing is so "noob" and you don't think it's right. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | I think tk is good. Some people see you coming to attk them and they press space so you wont kill them. People always say Tk is noobish.. but i bet they wouldn't mind themselves doing it. It's just like swapping, only on swapping they let you kill them. So i really dont care. |

A good way to tell if someone is typing just as a cover: If they move their head... Like they're moving their mouse.

![]() | I don't mind if people tk, it is your choice to talk. It can't be that important, and if it is, then you shouldn't mind dying for it. As I heard someone say once "The enter key is not a pause button". |

Okay, I'm just playing Devil's Advocate. I'm an avid supporter of type killing. PS Bubba's motto is pretty good. A good KSing motto I came up with is "if you can't finish the kill then you don't deserve to have it". Another ethical motto ![]()
