GunZ is a cursed game. It will forever be an endless pit of ego and bad management.

Think about it.

Have you ever played a private server? They all suck. Even BBGunZ with it's potential epicness is way behind on their release. Ijji is always behind. MAIET was always gay with igunz. The game is just cursed.

you have your prospective but it is not entirely cursed. Think about it, it entertains many people and let's us have fun. If people did not have Gunz they would be doing something stupid with their lives like another virginia tech because they were bored and listened to those tapes by that asian dude who shot at virginia tech. They would be like that guy at saint johns university and wear a president bush mask and walk around with a loaded rifle because they thought it was funny.

Bad management? Maybe.

Ego? No. First half of igunz was relatively ego-free. People didn't act the same way, they were more helpful. The introduction of GunzFactor started a first a trend about who was best, then posting "YOUR HIGHEST TDM SCORE" then posting "COOL REPLAYS LOOK WE BEAT GK." Before gzf was the norm, GunZ was a normal game with normal players.
