| Gunzfactorian Guardian | Ok, this will probably never happen, but i like hoping for stuff which will never happen. Try not to flame, thanks. Well, basically, i have just one thing to suggest, and although it will never get implemented (this is based on past statistics, close to 0% of all suggestions have been implemented), it would be fun to discuss it hypothetically, no? Remove the 'levitation' thingy when you get lightning massived. You know how everytime you get lightning massived, you fly upwards for a short distance and then you get stunned and frozen there in midair? Yeah, i'm saying that they should just let you get stunned and frozen on the floor, and not make you fly up a short distance, then get stunned and frozen in midair. Reasons: 1. Lightning always needed nerfing, the highest level lightning element guarantees a sure kill. With this, people wielding lightning elements who happen to be total noobs may just miss a few pellets, seeing as you aren't as vulnerable on the floor as when you are suspended in midair, and you may still get away, albeit at low red. 2. I don't know if any of you have ever tried this, but it's actually possible to move away after being lightning massived, and that's by simply slashing. Since slashing forces you to take one step forward, this may lead to quite a number of possibilities. However, the catch to this is that you have to be touching the floor. The only time i managed to do this was when i got lightning massived and a friendly grenade exploded over me and i was forced downwards onto the floor. Questions you may have: This won't work, it's too much work for too little change. Well, actually.. no. This doesn't even need maiet to implement ANY code. In fact, they will be deleting code to accomplish this. They will have to delete the part of the code that makes you fly up into the air after being lightning massived. The changes it may bring may be quite big, why not give it a chance? This won't work! You think you can what, void step away from a person after being massived? Actually, after you have been massived, you have a very high chance of being killed. It's just that with normal massives, the probability is close to 65%, and with lightning massives, the probability is 100%. My suggestion will probably make the probability of insta death by lightning massive drop to about 90%. My point: I know trying to void step away from a person after being massived may seem pretty pointless, but i just want to make it such that lightning massives are not that much of a tide turner. I love lightning massives!! Why are you nerfing them??? Oh, don't worry, they probably won't get nerfed anyway! It's not like it's the first time people are complaining about unbalanced game items. Just look at premium meds! Edit: Sry to all those who just slammed into a wall of text, but srsly, you need to read faster if you can't finish this under a few minutes. Practice :P Last edited by lentan; 10-09-2007 at 08:47 AM. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | No. Almost every pro i meet knows how to use the sliding glitch. Just dash right when you get hit. You can't do that for lightning. That's why i said that if you get massived, there's only a 65% chance of you getting killed instantly. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | 100% chance of killing = wrong. Good chance, Yes. Same with when you're normally massived. Learn not to get massived = Skyblock. A nice thought and a good job writing it out, but it just goes against the idea of prems. You pay for an advantage, as simple as that. |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Yeah...it sounds for the better, but they paid for it, they should get the unfair advantage. Anyways they have to give up a space in their Med kits/grenades spot, so would you rather dodge their massives, or have them heal to full health and ap with premium meds? |
