Cerb sorta has a guide scratching the surface of some basic things, but that's it. Yes, it's a real style of gladiator, though we don't wanna reveal it =P
If you hunt me down in match 1 in Pendulum cc, maybe i'll tell you some stuff

I might make a guide about it explaininig how it's different from turtling >.> Cause nubs keep telling me I turtle which annoys me.

No, it's not a fighting style. Stalk can only be performed under certain conditions.

However, Cerbie's Stalk has less of a situational requirement. It's all about the first and second slashes. If you get the beginning right, then you can do it.

It's not a style, but a step. It's a combination of whatever moves you wanna throw in.

For example, I'll list two style stalks.

Diamons Stalk - I used the DBFLY to initiate the massive coming from the right to the left, using the massive in the opponent's hand to make my slashes get through.


Cerb3rus Stalk - Uses a combination of one step butterfly and quick slash. If I remember correctly *haven't played gladiator in months*, I think quick slash is the median in this one.

Mine is harder and wields less results, and yet Cerb3rus's one requires less effort and is much more efficient.

It's just like an instafall. There are variations, but the technique is the same.

You think you understand stalk? and yet you never left a lasting mark on cerb each time you fought him. If you had a clue about stalk you'd have the feintest idea of beating it.

Your style consists mainly of quick slashing the air at a distance so that only someone dumb enuf to walk right into you would get hit, and then static dbfing to a person's front where their block is the strongest.

Sorry, I used to understand Stalk better then you. I even had my own personal customized variation of it, one I preferred rather then quick slash.

Btw, I also don't have a style. I used to adapt to my opponent. I live by my previous expectations, not how ****ty I play nowadays.

The fact that I didn't rape you 20-0 simply proves that I suck nowadays.

You think that you lost skill for not playing for a month or so, xcept gladiator is mostly about thought, and i've seen how you don't have one damn bit of thought in any of your fights. Unless you just got dumber in the past month of not swording (which may be possible) you'll still be the same at gladiator as you ever were.

How in the hell do you expect to come close to beating me with your simple and year one moves? single and double quick slash followed by a butterfly or double butterfly, massive spam, and static butterfly. I basically just outlined your entire style.

I never had a style, never will. I can't perform juggle or instafall anymore.

I haven't played swords since January, in which I joined Moogle-Enix. yes, I played one or two games, but that's it. I never took it seriously, and the day I will is when there are actually skilled gladiators left in the gladiator community.

Until then, the gladiator community doesn't exist. I never accepted you, Dylan, or any of the new schoolers. You're not gladiators, you're just trying too hard.

Hmm, Stalk.

Stalk is what cerb called his style. In his own theory, it was the quickest way to get behind an opponent, but that it was highly free form that it is nearly impossible to teach "moves" or steps. Everyone has a method of stalking in gladiator, cerbs just happened to be the most efficient of anyones.
