Gray, I use that setup as well.
I don't think there's a single white wall in all of gunz's maps.

Character and crosshair stand out more, so they're easier to aim at.
Less screen lag for those with crappy computer(Like me)
Easier to concentrate on the game since the graphics don't seem great.
Easier to do many moves due to reduced screen lag.
Less ghost lag.

I have an 8800GTX Ultra so i dont have to worry about screen lag what so ever. Just not sure if taking away my gfx for aim/sight is worth it.

That Setup is BSET!

It allows you to move smoother and easier, you can see characters MUCH easier.

I tried going back, but the mass of detail hurts my eyes, I can't see the enemy anymore!

Unless you have decent comp, use the Config setup! =]

I have a decent PC myself, and the game in maximum settings runs just as fine as the config.xml
Just that some characters blend in the walls you can't see them until they kill you. It's up to the person's preference really; if they're okay in spotting enemies or not. If u like it pwetti then don't bother with it ^_^. One problem is that you can't change the settings ingame grrr.
