Kstyle-vs-Dstyle

ok this is somthing i found interesting. i was playing on a sword tdm and this kstyler brings up that daggers can be owned so easily now we have a bit of an arugument and i say that kstylers can be beaten no problem if the dagger user is a master at using a dagger but he says no. i want to know what u think but think about it befor u vote even take some time to read any treads on dagger users to get knowlage on it. and HAPPY VOTING!

It depends on the level of skill the dagger user and sword user has. I can beat level one noobs with a dagger, even if they have swords.

well i totally agree....it really depends on the level of skill both players have...but ill agree with this also:

The Average D-Styler is less powerfull then the average K-Styler....

The only thing a K Styler has over a D styler is the block, this is what makes D style so hard because i cant just charge forward pressing Attack+Block and knowing that im not gonna get hit, we dagger users have to play very smartly or we get pwnz0red.

It all so depends on the map and the situation, i find that on town i can do well against your average K styler with my JSD because ive had a life time of playing FPS's this means i aim better than them. I have to watch out though cause if they get close then im screwed as they just start circling BF'in which i cant just go *presses block* and turtle my way out

Thats why d-style is weak....u need to have certein CONDITIONS to survive....and i hardly believe an avg d-styler can kill an avg k-styler in TOWN... i mean thats the map all k-stylers love... >__<

people "good" and up with k-style easily beats d-style... 95% of the time

any "average" k-styler or lower [in skill] can be beaten probably

K.A.J vs say, BeyondPower, the outcome maybe be different.

Daggers do own though.

This is one of the reasons i turn chat off while K stylers are in a room because they seme to have this view that a K styler can beat anyone, its rather annoying because it isnt true, So what you can fly round levels, its not Sword exclusive. Dagger users can do it too

I can and have beaten average K stylers on Town through a combination of Good Aim, Luck (when they miss there dash and stand there for 1/2 second), an innate ability to know when to lunge.

EDIT: and of course most k-stylers think they can beat everyone who doesnt use it...cuz there arent many who use other styles...its sad i know... T__T

Alot of the kstylers will think that, but not most.

getting back on topic, daggers are at a real disadvantage to swords. Swords are not just all about bfly, but also turtling, more damage, and a faster switch. If a dagger user hopes to beat a highly skilled sword user, then this user has to know how to counter turtling, when to attack, and how to maneuver against incoming attacks. swords will most likely win in most instances if both players are about equal level in sword and dagger
