Don't Gun the mini [Insert boss here]!!!

So ive heard various people start spamming this during quest: "Dont gun the shaman (or mini superion, or anermom), instead

1) Sword it. (VERY ANNOYING)

2) Headshot it (I do it anyway, godly aim with revs =P)

3) Massive it (WTF? I kicked her when i heard this, then she started whispering me how if you do the massive kill on 2 shamons, it gives you a devils dictionary! I just turned of chat.

4) Don't pick up any boxes before it and you get 99% (This is probably the most epic phail one there is)

Im going to just make a macro in all caps screaming that it does no difference!!!!!!!!!!!!11111one1!11!1!!!!!!!

I think this belongs in teh rant section, but i thought quest section was better.

Oh ya, btw, most of the ppl who say these things, haven't heard of GZF.

Indeed, it's annoying. Have you heard of the rumour "Don't pick up boss boxes immediately, but wait 10 seconds before picking it up, better drops"? I don't believe in it, but when I tried it, three times in a row, I got the rarest drops. No idea though.

Nothing affects the drop rates, nothing. It's 20% any way you look at it, and those aren't bad odds anymore. It used to be 3% then 6% when those rumors started, and once again they had no effect on the outcome.

Maybe this chart will explain the relationship between these techniques and drop rates better.

All these silly rumors are bs, but everyone knows that if you sword Aneramon 100% you'll get a 100% drop rate of a Devils Dictionary.
