Yuck.

So, for those of you who don't know. I've started working. I'm a Cashier at Ponderosa. Anyway. Last night I had to work 5-9. I was on Silverwear duty (I'm newer, so I get silverwear duty) but if first cash gets swamped I have to help them out.

I have three managers, Debbie, she's ****s awesome - and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Frank, he's quite quiet, and really doesn't say much of anything. And Angie, who is a first class ***** and I believe hates me. (Whenever Debbie's not there and I'm scheduled to work, she'll call me off saying, "we don't need you".

So last night, I get there around 5. Immediately, I'm handed a card for the second register, telling to help out. I ask if I need to get a new register out of the back - Frank tells me it's fine, and to just use the one Angie was working off of earlier. So, I do that. Nothing goes wrong - my first night without any Voids. I made sure that I gave the exact change every time.

When I finish my paperwork, and turn it in. I finish my silverwear, and am getting ready to leave, one of the assistant managers, Jamie calls me into the office, and says, "There's a problem with your register / paperwork. You're $20.00 short." One of my credit card slips is missing (from before I started working and I'm also missing $20. Which comes out of my pay check. x_x Which sucks, because I only bring home about $80.00 every two weeks, because I only get three days a week.

Meh.

Heh, I remember when our special was 1/2 Rack of BBQ Ribs. For some reason, I always got tongue tied when I had to say, "Hi, Welcome to Ponderosa, would you like to try a half rank of bbq ribs today?"

I'm just working at home really... Taking care of the mentally ill adult that should be coming here tomorrow (if all goes well). My mom's paying me $7-$10 per hour for pretty much just watching after him.
