| Wiki Foreman / SysOp | I highly doubt any of you know this, but is there an actual term for when people name fallacies that don't really fit the argument (or, even worse, just vaguely say "your argument is fallacious.") in an attempt to refute? I really need a term for that. Anything to shorten a paragraph into a sentence in a debate. The terms "idiot" and even "pseudo-intellectual" just don't suffice. |
