What do you mean by having the backround too plain? Like is it too grungy? etc. I mean, I'm not going to go around adding little bubbles to a signature to perk it up lol. I know the text doesn't look too well but the creator at the time didn't have many different texts only a few of the basics.

Plain as in there's nothing to the background, no lighting whatsoever. No offence. Looks like a signature done by a person who started making sigs for 2 weeks or so.

Judging by your signature, it isn't all to great as well. I've searched around the forums and I've found nothing remarkable about your work as well, if you're going to give pointers at least work on your own stuff. Your current signature of LP reminds me of a donkey show with a stud named Kelly. No offence to you as well, it looks like you overused lighting effects paired with standard brushes gone wrong. Don't get me wrong Linkin Park is a great band my friend.

the type of signiture you've created imo can be better.
i rate it 4/10... the background can be better.... it seems u just brushed it
then set the colour to orange..... then the stock u added.. could have been
better.. u shoulda found a better one.. the one u grabbed isnt clear.. and
the blurry effect just doesnt grab my attention... the text u put more
effort into it.. though its still a basic GIF.... though that was decent.

Soz but as Turundo said the background is pretty much plain. And the way you doubled the render on the signature and blurred fails, epically.
