I was never a fan of using my render for part of the background but i like it nice job old one was better that blueish one :O

It's one of the vector styles. And it's not part of the background.

Try Gaussian Blur around 2.0 and Edit > Fade Gaussian blur > Soft Light on the render.

A concert stage stock. (: Gaussian blur 2.0.
And a few soft circle brushes. And small brushes.
