Default Full screen Crosshair questions

[Quoted from Gunzfactor]
crosshair - for the unaimed crosshair.

crosshair_pick - (Optional) for the aimed crosshair.

- A recoil crosshair is made of 1-4 outer moving parts that are used to simulate spread-

- to install a recoil crosshair name, use "crosshair" and "crosshair_pick for your center part, and rename the outer moving parts as...

unaimed:

crosshair_t - (Optional) for the recoil part on top of the crosshair.

crosshair_r - (Optional) for the recoil part on the right of the crosshair.

crosshair_b - (Optional) for the recoil part on the bottom of the crosshair.

crosshair_l - (Optional) for the recoil part on the left of the crosshair.

aimed:

crosshair_t_pick - (Optional) for the aimed version of the recoil part on top of the crosshair.

crosshair_r_pick - (Optional) for the aimed version of the recoil part on the right of the crosshair.

crosshair_b_pick - (Optional) for the aimed version of the recoil part on the bottom of the crosshair.

crosshair_l_pick - (Optional) for the aimed version of the recoil part on the left of the crosshair. [Quoted]

Alright so making a regular crosshair is easy... now I'm trying to make my own full screen crosshair w/ a recoiling crosshair. Above I don't get these statment(s).
- for the aimed version of the recoil part on the bottom/top/left/right of the crosshair
- unaimed and aimed crosshair.
Also.. I forgot how to make the crosshair transparent using GIMP. Any quick answers?
------ Questions about Full screen crosshair editing---
1. If I took a copy of the 800 by 600 screenshot of my screen during gameplay, and work w/ that to edit the HUD and crosshair, do I have to worry about the background of the screenshot (the rest of the details excluding the HUD and crosshair once I save it to the custom crosshair folder?)
2. Now all I want to do is edit the HUD and make a recoiling crosshair.. how do I make only the changes to the HUD and recoiling crosshair appear during gameplay?
3. Can I add other things to the full screen crosshair?
4. Can I paste something onto the full screen crosshair and do i have to make it transparent?
5. What has to be transparent?

Default Re: Full screen Crosshair questions

u do k-style? if you do and you have a fancy full screen... it will make u have seizures.. i dont like full screens because of that... and melee weapons have no crosshairs... so there will be nothing there when u use swords... dude... just go with a dot!
