Luges's post inspired me to work harder in photoshop so i will continue to work on this mario sig:

As you can see i took luge's recommendations.
So far i got
1.Got better text (Alba Font @ 1001Fonts.com)
2. Blended it, drop shadow.
3. got rid of the purple star

Now i need to get a good blue background. I really like the red so i want to leave it there and then blend a blue background into it.

If anybody wants to help me I will offer the psd.

Some please help me make this a great sig!

... I personally don't like it... Looks like you downloaded a render and a background, stuck them together, slapped your name on it with a downloaded text and called it yours.. =\

Render looks squeezed, hold shift while transforming. Foreground effects aren't bad, background looks random.
