| Newbie | Hey guys! I recently downloaded Wolfenstein: Enemy territory, and when I try to run it, it shows a long error message...Here it is.. Forums, and downloaded an earlier version and a patch, but got the same error message. Once I manage to get ET working, I'm going to download the True Combat Elite mod, if this info helps at all. I've been going at this for about 10 hours, and I've lost most of my patience. Tell me what I can do, I run warrock, silkroad etc. flawlessly, and I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000. I just followed the chatbox instructions to "Alternatively, go into your device manager (r click my computer>properties>hardware) and look under 'display adaptors' ... whatever is there, r click and 'update drivers' " But the manager said that there is no better software match for your current hardware. Please help! Thanks! Last edited by Ninjarcher; 07-08-2007 at 09:40 PM. |

its ur graphics card...i was skiming thru ur problem and the last line pretty much summed it up..... umm...try doing the things people say here: Help!!! GLW-START Open GL ( )-could not load open GL subsystem - EXTREME Overclocking Forums and as for your video drivers sometimes the windows update thingy isnt the best way to go.....go to the nvidia site itself and download the new forceware for ur card... NVIDIA Drivers if none of that work then i dunno what the problem is... | |
