![]() | Is this game console worth buying, yes, no, and why? How is Xbox Live? How do you connect to xbox live? Which games are best on the Xbox 360 currently? Which games (next to Fable 2) are most anticipated? What does the link from PC-XBOX do? Any input would be appreciated, I am getting more and more interested in this console since almost all of my games are either rumoured or confirmed to go multi-platform. As a sub note, I like games such as Fable, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 7, KillZone, Devil May Cry etc. etc. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Personally I'd say no. I don't think X-box or X-box 360 had/have many good games... The few good games have all appeared on the PC within a year or so of their X-box release. I know many people who own X-box 360s and like it very much. Personally, I don't understand why...but they do. The people who have them seem to be more of the "I have a social life and I play video games" kind of kids...not the super video game nerds who fear the sun. (I don't fear it, but I'm more toward that side, even though I do have a social life) I think Xbox live is just a rip off...especally if you plan on playing any p2p online games on it...you have to pay for x-box live AND for the game...Obviously it's not the end of the world because it's only like 5 dollars a month...but it adds up, and I don't think is worth it because as I said...all of the good games go to PC anyways... |

| Banned | Thats for the elite, and its not even worth it unless you have a awesome $1500+ HD TV. It comes in $299(core) $399(premium)*recommended*and the elite at $561. I'd only recommend the elite if you have a awesome HD TV and you plan on downloading ALOT OF VIDEOS or demos. My hd had like 15 gbs of space when I bought it, I got like 5 demos and I still got 12 gbs left. The only way I could really use up all the space would be to DL ALOT of movies and demos. |

![]() | Thank you all very much for the input, more opinions would be appreciated. And yes I'm more towards the social life>games, but the reason I'de like an Xbox 360 is because of the online capabilities the console has, and the sheer comfort of browsing while I'm sitting on my couch infront of the t.v. The reason I started about this is because I saw a trailer for Kingdom under Fire: Circle of Doom. I imagined that to be a form of WoW (different combat system obviously) but on a console, and online. This appealed to me greatly. I also like the graphics and the pc link thing a lot etc. PS3 seems kind of tempting also, but then again thats 200 euro's more, and there aren't exactly a lot of good games on it yet, and even if they come 9/10 will go to the 360 aswell (Devil may cry, assassins creed, final fantasy (rumours), GTA etc.). I did some research on the xbox sets (core premium elite) that are available. I'de definetly go for premium since I dont have an HD t.v, and it seems about all the space I need. How is the DVD player on the Xbox by the way? Is it possible to play DivX on it aswell? |
