| AKAlias wuz here | I purchased the recently released Battlefield on Thursday of this week, due to being poor on the day of it's release. First impressions of the campaign were great! Large maps with long missions, noticed that completing the game on hard will not fill in the achievements for normal - which gives it automatic replay value. The range of tools at your disposal is great, varying from your standard grenades to your laser designated missiles of which you control the flight path of, NICE!. The freedom of how you complete missions is also satisfying, there is no set path to take, meaning you can just blast your way through a wall if your pinned down in one area. You can drive just about anything, from jeeps to boats to helicopters. The AI is satisfying, you'll find you need your health pretty often. Health is too easy to come by, whereas most FPS games, regaining health consists of staying out of the way of any other damage while you recover, BF consists of a little syringe of which you must stab yourself with, an endless supply of 2 button clicked health. Dying means you go back to your nearest checkpoint similar to most games although any enemies killed on your first run will remain dead, meaning the more times you die the easier it gets. DISSAPOINTING! Putting all this aside, going AWOL with one of your superiors, a manic explosives expert and a lovesick nerd, all of you with one thing in common, seizing a huge load of gold from enemy mercenaries makes this game very enjoyable. My Campaign review - 7.5/10 Online play, I found very dissapointing, there is only one game type available - which is similar to Call Of Duty's search and destroy although much larger and much more hectic, all the available perks from campaign mode are available in Online play, such as your helicopters and laser designated missiles but overall I think the online play could of been a lot better. My Online review - 5/10 There are 50 acheivements available on the 360 version of the game for both campaign and online gaming, they consist of finishing levels on certain difficulties, getting awards in online play and the mother of all achievements for the game - 10,002 kills. My Score so far: 400/1000 Summary: Worth buying? Yes but not for its retail price at the moment, still £40.00 in the UK. |

Release the same stuff...make epic profit. The only way you can it's an EA game is later on it will get stupidly hard. But not hard in a fun way...just hard in a "wtf this isn't even fun because when I do get past this **** it's not satisfying since I know 2 feet later I'll encounter the same ****"

The first levels are pretty fun...but then the koreans get their own crysuit technology in the story which means you end up blowing 5 clips into each enemy you encounter...it's not fun...I'd much rather they just make me fight 20 enemies at once rather than one super enemy that isn't even a boss.

Unless it's clan vs clan it's just a bunch of morons. There's no point to vehicles that are made to carry a ton of people, because they always end up in a tree 6 seconds upon departure causing everybody to have to bail out only to die from it exploding. And everything else is just crashed and destroyed because people don't understand that tanks, boats, airplanes, or helicopters cannot fly through rocks or buildings. Another reason to believe that 9/11 wasn't a terrorist attack but was caused by 2 gamers who managed to become pilots.

Only every so often to drive into the enemy base to get anti'd by missles. =/ I hate being thrown into a god damn team with random people. The only thing I have a huge complaint about the game.

There's no actual clan system so clans are a bunch of people throwing a tag on their name and only able to actually get some real gameplay when they enter tournaments. I'm a ****ing pro at TF2. I end up soloing most games as spy. I know I'd get my **** rocked if I were in a game with people who realize the game has more to it than just killing other people. When I can build up my engineer stuff while defending way behind me and then dominate multiple players with my shotgun and no medics on my team...something's not right. That's one of the strengths of a lot of online korean fps...they have clan systems implanted, and let you wage clan warfare a lot easier and more often.
