| Gunzfactorian Soldier | I'm looking for a game I can really get into. Tell me what you play and I might join you, I'm willing to play all weekend and maybe carry on leveling if I like the game. I liked Cabal, Shaiya and GE. I didn't like L2 and FF11. Square the buggers didn't cancel my acount right away, I stopped playing in under 1 week but got charged for 2 months. I'd like something that requires you to do party based quests and has a story worth following. It would be nice if you had vent or ts, let me know soon so I can download the client. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Story + online game = myth. Yeah games like FFXI follow a general story line..but in the end you're grinding to endgame and then grinding gear. Want a good story...read a book or play a single player rpg. Want to deal with a mix of decent people and faggot loud mouth children while working as a team, play a mmo. |

Now for cabal boast. If you stick long enough, you can do great dungeons, chaos arena (like 21 ppl vs 1000 mobs) boss runs and the quests have a good story line for those who bother to read it. | |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | This month I've read "Memory Room" and "Never ends", don't feel like reading more but I guess that might be the case. I have Enchant Arms lying around and played that last weekend for a bit, not a bad game, the battle system is slightly rigid. It's weird I love single player rpg's, but since I got a PC I've really wanted to get into a mmorpg. |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Mabinogi. Graphics are like Ragnarok's, but on a bigger scale and no isometric camera angles. Combat actually requires timing and strategy (such as when to turn your defence on, or counter-attacking). There are many, MANY skills (you can even make your own music, with harmonics, chords and everything, then play it with a variety of instruments; I found it pretty cool). Items, armor, and weapons actually take time to get, unlike the linear RPGs where you always have enough gold to get a prefixed set of items that match your level. Gold can be obtained from quests, monsters, and part-time jobs (such as selling fish, or gathering wool from sheep). Quests utilize most of your skills, and dungeons are randomly generated. It's very much like living a fantasy character's life, you should check it out. If you do, you can add me. I've just started, but I've found many things to do already, and they're all enjoyable.
