Video game confessions

Stole this off of /v/ figured GZF could use it. Just post any video game confessions you have.


Short Version:

I play games to get away from life, and to live a different one.

My first game was vectorman on the genesis and I never finished it. I lost it on the move to New Jersey

My first self bought console was PS2. I still have it actually. I still need to finish a few games, but I cant bring myself around to finishing them.

I never finished Viewtiful Joe 2, but damn the bosses were awesome.

My first FPS I ever played was Halo, and it turned me off from every other FPs on the market at the time( even the good ones)

I have the full set of Ratchet and Clank games in a nice little collection seperate from the copies that I opened and played. I had hopes that one day I could sell them, and make money off them, but now their just there to look good.

Just because I'm a "black" gamer people either think I should be playing Halo,CoD, or some EA generic sports game. Save those for the sterotypes.

I cant hit the orange fret in GH. So I switch to controller when I want to play on hard.

I play bass for my Rock Band, and I'm damn good at it.

My first RPG was .hack//Infection and it was cool. I liked the anime, and I saw it in the bargain bin so I picked it up. I haven't played the last 3 volumes because paying for parts of a 10 hour game just screams rip-off.

I bought the colectors edition of FFXII, but never finished the game. Mt bur-onmiscence(spelling?) can go sucka cock. It feels like a MMO with an empty server.

My favorite RPG so far has to be Oblivion, I dont care what /v/ says playing it without mods is still a fun experience.

I own a 360, but I dont play Halo.

I bought halo only to play with friends, but as soon as I got katana I threw the damn thing out.

I got orange box for the 360, and Let me just say HL2 has the most epic feeling I ever had playing a FPS.

Portal was a fun puzzle game, but after one playthrough, theres nothing to get out of a second playthrough.

I dont see why /v likes TF2 so much. I played it on 360 and it's only full of rednecks, ******s, and little kids (Like most xbox games) who play either, soldier,scout, or sniper. Which leads to each match being the same damn thing happening every match. (It's called intel, you go grab it and run back not run back and forth killing everything without making progress to the goal.)

The only 360 games I play now are bioshock, Cod4, Orange box, GTA IV,Oblivion, and Mass Effect. MetalGuru1 btw

GTA IV is like a upgrade/downgrade to the series. It has some cool things, but fails in those new aspects like cover, and phone calls.

There will never be a zombie game as good as Dead Rising. Not even Re4 was as epic as it.

I'm a mecha lover. Fm4 and C&C 3 are the only RTS's I play. I dont play starcraft but I still make the same lame pylons joke.

I want to get into PC gaming, but I lack the patience, job, and knowledge to get stuff done.

Play Halo 3 for a month then switch
Play CoD4 for a month then switch
Play Gears Of War for 2 weeks then switch

The most times i've completed a game was 6 times, that was dead rising.

I completed GTA IV in 23 hours then it got scratched by 360.

I got red ring of death while glitching in oldschool mode on cod4.

My first game was Mario on super nintendo and i havn't played it since i was 3 years old and i can still remember 1/2 doing half the levels

My next games wer sonic 1 for the sega megadrive and then sonic 2 and pinball

I used to be scared of alien trilogy and dino crisis 2 when i was like 6 years old, great games though.

The first year i had my 360 i played it for like 15 hours total

When i was playing gunz for 2 years i didn't play any console games for more than 2 hours, explains why my aim sucks with the analog stick.

The only reason i have a 360 is because my friends have one so i could play online, if it would be my way i would have a PS3.

The first RPG i completed was oblivion and was the first i ever played

I had never played a final fantasy game until 1 month ago and that was when my friend downgraded my psp and put ff7 onto it, but my psp has broke since.

My GTA : san andreas disc died on me and i randomly smeared shampoo onto it then rinsed it and it worked for another 2 months. (LOL)

Today i paid £2 to fix my GTA IV disc and it still doesn't work.

Short Version:

Video games are starting to bore me.

I have Ps3, 360, and Wii.

I don't have any games for 360 and I think 360 is crap.

PS3 is alright, it will probably win on the long term.

Wii is alright, half baked, this whole "gimmik" is starting to bore me, can't keep my interests together.

I think GTA is overrated game that everyone loves due to random act of violence.

Guitar Hero is crap, I own 2,3 and still think its crap, and I am still confused WHY people loves GH.

I find most of GH songs "meh", its not my kind of gendre

Rockband is overrated, I also hate it and the songs sucks.

Final Fantasy, 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,12 were fine, 7,10,10X2 sucked balls. Especially 7, I don't care if it is "revolutionary" of the RPG.

I hate playing RPGs on consoles, it bugs me.

I love handheld.

I am a PC gamer.

I hate sport based video games (NHL, NBA, ETC)

I hate playing FPS on consoles.

I own total of 6 PS2 games even though the system was purchased a day after release day.

I don't own Game Cube nor PS1 nor CrapBox

I think Bungie is gay, they need to learn how to make proper games.

Squareenix was uber gay during 2004~2007.

MGS series is good game, but its also overrated.

I was beta tester for WoW.
