Steam - AudioSurf

I was just introduced to this game and I'm already hooked.

Conceptually it's like a mix of guitar hero (or any other music+timing game) and a racer. The thing that sets it apart is that you're able to use any song on your computer and the track will adjust itself automatically.

You can download the demo for free (you need Steam to play it, which is also free). The demo lets you play 4 songs, but you can purchase the full version for only $9.99, which is a great deal.

Also, as a bonus, the full version comes with the Orange Box soundtrack free!

can you play your songs with the demo? or does the demo come with preset songs

Yeah if you're epileptic, prone to motion sickness or sensitive to lots of flashing lights definately stay away from this...

Anyway i have a program that allows you to play the full version but offline.

"Ages" equalling less than two months it seems.

Figures there would be a topic about playing this game for free when it's only ten bucks. Personally I think the guy who developed it deserves that much for his great game.

Yea i agree its a really nice game and i probably would buy it if i had the money.

Same as yours except no Laser Show or Snowstorm but I do have PPM 30000.

I've only played with the Mono racers so far but I'll probably expiriment with the others eventually.

No way in hell am I selling my soul to steam.
I'd rather get the offline version, and pirate the Orang box soundtrack.

Apparently Steam bought AudioSurf. And the only worth thing in the steam version is the orange box soundtrack.
