Trying to regain my skill and how GunZ isn't what it used to be

Well yeah, i've spent almost 3 weeks trying to get my skill back on track, getting back to how i used to be before the previous 4-5 month break.

The thing is, it's really really tough, I'm no longer fighting people i know, not the same style of play before i quit. Before i quit i knew gunz was going down at the time but this is just... ugh.

Well in EU server theres about 10 town TDM matches a DAY, back last year it was more than that at the same time. But whenever you find a good decent game, you press tab and look at the pings, it's full of 80+ pings and right then i am thinking i may aswell to go to USA server... 50-80 ping.

Then theres the style everybody uses, last year you would see alot of active decent people "Trying" against each other using speed and aim, jumping off walls etc. That was fun, even to watch. Nowadays all people do is walk, turtle, try to catch you off guard, make you fall back, interupt you with slashes using lag, flip you, insta you, flip + shoot, potshot and i guess potshot behind there own turtle etc. (huge list) Now this is just slow and boring, maybe fun for probaly 10 minutes seeing people walk in to your trap and let you finish them off, but after that it's just boring and it gets kind of irratating.

But mostly, this is really making it difficult to get my speed and aim back (what made gunz fun for me), usually to regain my skill i would go into a room full of pros and l would try my hardest yet lose alot and probaly get a score of 3/20 in a duel game, but hey i would my skill back in no time.

The past 3 days i've been really pissy and moany to gunz players, this is for a reason, i want to have a 1v1 because people actually try in that (helps me get my skill up again). Yeah i've lost lot's of 1v1's in the process, lost to people i know i could beat, never felt ashamed though.

Meh, if i'm not satisfied with any improvements in my skill within a week i guess i'm quitting forever untill gunz gets back to how it used to be, hopefully this week because of summer holidays.
