| Gunzfactorian Guardian | How do you guys play in Gunz? Not just stating styles but some more details. Although people may know more about how you play and try to counter it, it can be possible with other members seeing mistakes in the fighting style or for already good moves to be reinforced. I would say I'm a dagger and gunner. I have 85 ap and 100 hp and exactly 100 weight. I'm currently level 28. I try to snipe if possible. One problem is that I only use mouse scroll to change weapons so I tend to be slow in switching weapons. Weapons: Lightweight Dagger Maxwell LX30 Phantom Cruise N x2 4 Explosive Nades Medpack (3 clips) Dagger - Usually, when in a tight situation and need to evade or escape or even going close for example, I would draw out the dagger. I tend to dash forward more than other directions. I always dash and stab and if I move around with the dagger, I would jump dash stab all the time. In fighting I always use jump, dash, stab. If the enemy is not very clever or agile, I'd always stick close to the enemy and start stabbing them to death. If possible, I lunge enemies to the ground and then kill then with Maxwell. I also try to trick opponents like pretending to massive and then lunge. Sometimes, even when not intended to force enemies to the ground, I'll lunge the opponent, because they are blocking or something like that, because the lunge not only breaks blocks but also does more damage than a mere stab. I need to learn instafall T-T. I fear very powerful BFers, Shotguns, massives, people who know how to block daggers and getting cornered by another dagger. Maxwell - My primary weapon. I always use this, aim, and keep firing unless unneccessary. I use it because of its speed and accuracy, nothing else. Revolvers - Actually, I rarely use them, and I'm inaccruate with them, so I can't snipe with them T-T. But I used it because of its high firepower and the fact it does more damage to hp than ap. Its also my last resort weapon when I have no time to reload or I'm out of maxwell ammo. There was a time I fought guys with premium armor, and I got so irritated because they're so hard to kill with a maxwell I resorted to the revs to kill them. Nades - 4 of them. Always thrown when there is a large group. I like to throw it around the low basement of Mansion and one particular area of Castle which EVERYONE always goes. I usually only spam the nades when trying to escape and dying. Medpacks - Will always be my lifesaver. No doubt. What about swords? I don't use swords, although I own a military sword, lightweight sword and a lightweight kodachi. I do know some basic slash shot for K-Style, but I refuse to learn K-Style because my fingering is not good and I can't control a BF well. Also, I realize I need more armor and speed than the ability to block. I need to escape faster and survive, and then take the chance to attack. Other weapons? Well.... I own a MG but I don't use it after I realised how terribly inaccurate it is, but I don't want to sell it. I am thinking about pistols to replace revs if I can't get my accuracy right. I already have plans about what I want if I could get any item I want. I'm thinking to learn some swap shot. What about you guys? |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Revolvers are simply divine if you have the aim. lol. With a pair or revs or even just one, you can reduce an entire team of enemies to corpses in a matter of seconds. The only problem with revs is that they are pretty damn accurate, so you need the aim. That and when the enemies have 50+ ping, you have to start leading shots (Aiming ahead of time to compensate for lag). I you can't k-style, then the maxwell is a pretty good choice. It's fast, accurate and the damage is pretty good when you take into account for its speed. Though you should note that if a k-styler gets too close to you, his shotgun out-damages your maxwell by a long shot. Though I would suggest this: learn k-style if you can; it's very effective. Or at least learn the mechanics of it and how it works. You don't have to use it, but knowing some things about it will help you out more. |

![]() | Stealth. I love finding ways around people then ambush killing them before they could even figure out what happened with a Phantom/Cruel RS to the back. I am a hider, and a runner, mainly because distance is the greatest killer in this game, especially with Yoyo/JSD and Phantoms if you can aim right. >;D I pretty much only use the dagger to render the enemy useless, pinning them into corners and stunning them for the split second PB. *Shrugs* Works well if you can pull it off. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | Military Sword Maxwell LX30 Single Revolver AP/Med's I just run around HS/SSing with a rifle. It's pretty fun, doesn't get me to many kills though. If I'm really bored and I feel like leveling up I just go to Shower DM's. With my current set up I can't fit in dual Revolvers, so I just use a single one. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | Recently gotten breaker 6 and breaker 5 for the swap shot (i think) and a new phantom cruise x2 for the swap shot as well. I think those two are ownage. EDIT: Maybe I'd just stick to my current weapons or sacrifice something for another AR to replace Revs if I can't get my accuracy right. Last edited by STM1993; 05-12-2007 at 06:48 AM. |

| Member | Well, depends on the situation. But for now, I'm having this kind of weapon setup: Lightweight Sword Dual Launchers MK-1 simple but effective. Though I use a scroll wheel, my scrolling is occassionally compared to a keyboard user. Some people even ask why am I firing that fast and also called me a cheater. Dual launchers may seem noobish at times, but it's really fun to try out and it gets the job done. Just expect some people to kick you. |

| Member | I'd like to think of myself as an E-Styler, K-Styling's just not for me. 2x Ellan 2x Zaurus B Basic Nodachi I don't use grenades or med packs; I like to be able to scroll between my weapons quickly w/ the mouse wheel. I also am guilty of semi-spraying, but I'm trying to use more of a burst tactic. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lightweight sword Breaker 6 Breaker 5 As many nades as I can carry. I play weird in duels. I'm never in my "trying" mode in duels, I usually always mess around and use a shot every few seconds as I get closer to my opponent. When I get close enough, I move onto the sword and if they are slash crazy, I'll turtle. If they shoot constantly, I'll turtle and become aggressive (BF or DBF) inbetween shots. When I'm really trying I'll use HHS. HHS is a move that really improves my aim, so when I use it I usually hit 8/10 on someone I was formerly hitting 4/10 on with my RSS. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | I haven't gotten the weapons and style I really want to play as in Gunz. I quit dagger (at least for the moment) and learning K-Style now... using dual breakers, lightweight sword. Just lower armor. Bleh, my RS isn't good and I rather myself to have chosen Maxwell and Breaker >.< |
