Windstep and Eight Step

I'm having trouble with these two moves, so if theres any advice pls help, +rep

Windstep:
rhs/hs > dash > repeat

Eight Step:
rhs > switch to revs (if a girl) > shoot > yoyo

windstep is really easy seriously.
eighth step however is much more hard, you need to know how to yoyo pretty well, if you dont know that its just: jump dash(with gun) *do it at the peak of the jump or just b4

the guides say Eigth step is 3 dashes with a gun, and nobody knows what the hell windstep is

I heard Windstep was using FS then quickly switching over to RHS/HS. If you do it fast enough on female characters, the animations will lock, and (on replays and to other people), your character should do a bunny hop.
*again, this isn't that useful. It's only good if YOU have really good aim while moving VERY fast, and the other guy has horrible aim.

Windstep is : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to Gun » Switch to Sword » Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun » Jump(optional) » Dash.
The animation will lock before the second jump but you won't be able to see it, you'll have to get another player to watch or just watch your own replays like i did. If you're having real problems with this move try stalking members of Epiphany untill they give in and show you ^.^

What i find hard with windstep is to dont tumble >_< is there a speial timing or i just need to be as fas as possible?

If you can find me ingame I'd help ya with eighth... and it is 3 dashes... hs(does 2) > yoyo (1).

taht was the correct windstep but the different is u first do jump>dash>slash>switch switch then u do jump>dash>slash>switch to gun> dash


so it kinda a slashot with switch and after that a halfstep too me it show up into my replays that its a windstep =)

Lol here's wind It's my warm-up so don't laugh. I mess up a little and try to chain them together but tumble. Well, any way here's wind. I mess up once on purpose just to show you what I do by going slow.

I do jump-->dash-->slash-->switch to gun-->switch to sword-->jump-->dash-->slash(hold)-->switch to gun-->dash-->switch to sword.

That's the popular hs/rhs version.

Hmm, windstep has TWO variations that both make it have 3 dashes AND the animation lock.

RHS > switch to sword > DASH (do it really fast)

Jump > slash > switch to gun > switch to sword > dash(silent) > RHS

The second one is easier to get the animation glitch.


Eight step =
RHHS > yoyohop.

thats all... Not even really a step. Just a combo.

It is a combo but a nice active movement one... and can be turned into continuous double yoyo for a lot of moving shots.
