| Member | I searched youtube etc but couldnt find good replays about Turtling Its like, standing and block and wait untill person slashes and get stunned for sec so u can attack him right? Turtles really annoy me cause they cant "fight" they just abuse ur mistake, or they just actually doing nothing... But instaiing is good option right? is there a way thay you can prefent the getting stunned by the block ? |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Turtles...are NOT hard to kill. Just slash through block via facing all the way up/down and slash or do a tipslash (the very tip of the sword slash hit range). Also, just because a defensive person kicks your ass doesnt mean they cant fight, otherwise, how would they kill you? |

| Gunzfactorian Postcount Demi-God | If you suck at gladiator, you will have a 25% chance of beating an equally skilled turtle. If you're ok at gladiator, you will have a 50% chance of beating an equally skilled turtle. If you're excellent at gladiator, you will have a 90% chance of beating an equally skilled turtle. All of the turtle's style is based on chance (chance of stun, chance of massives hitting), as your skill level goes up, it becomes less based on chance and more on skill, and generally the faster you are, the more chances of success you will have. |

oke Both thnx, ill play gladiator more And im "skilled" enough to beat a turtle i think, but i just need to find a way around the stun. If i hit the block with top of my sword, is there less chance for a stun ? or i just go and insta them ALWAYS but i just think turtle is a noob way of playing, cuz the person isnt doing annything and only hoping for some chances thats why Thanks for respond

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | accept the lost and take a note of what just happan n keep n gain the experiance that u just gain. but observe how the other play plays while repostionin yourself for a counter or attack or defend. if ur trying to bfly circle around him n he turtles he figured you out. all he has to do is cut you off your angle to turtle. so dont bfly too close or away if he comes close with turtle bfly around him a little bit with the tip of your sword so u wont get cut off to get turtled. but if he stalker turtle you he is donig a bfly rushing to where your next attack is so pay attetion here if he already came to close dont slash your getting turtled cause of lag so simple turn around jump slashblock away from him so he will stalk at you but miss wen u didnt slash so his stalk has no effect wat so ever unless he can ground slash rite after his stalker has failed but then again this all comes wit exps |

but i usually counter turtle by bflying and then turtling, ie. alternating btw the 2 styles. make urself more unpredictable basically and i find tat varying the spd of ur bfly helps. spd seems to be quite essential in dealing wif them since the only way to dmg them is to either get behind them or retaliate wif a insta when they least expected it. ok... tats my 2cents worth ![]()

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | I usually let my enemy make the first move. The moment I see an opening, I trap them into a deadly slash stun lock. Doesnt matter what kind of enemy, the stun lock will eventually force them to be unable to move close to me ![]() |

Turtle is NOT chance. Only an ignorant fool would even think that it is >>" The only thing to know about turtle is that it is used to STUN people. Understanding how to stun makes a turtle useful, while noobs refer to it as "cheap" (Which is even funnier when they use flip moves rofl.) TURTLE is an ESSENTIAL part of a gladiator, as well as shadow slash, dbfly, and bfly (as far as basic moves go). Blocking an angle, a tip slash, or anything is so pathetically easy it's sad. "Chance" he says... It all comes down to a % of what the opponent likes to use. They always tend to go one way or the other, and you just 45/30 at that angle and you'll get em like 90% of the time. >>" Ima say this right nao. LEARN GLADIATOR BASICS BEFORE PREACHING TO OTHERS >>!
