RS while strafing left to right quickly

I was wondering your preferred method of doing this, as I'm trying to learn it. I heard to do it perfectly you need a mouse rebinder, but I'm not sure if that's true.

To explain it a bit further, in case the topic doesn't make sense...it's when someone basically stands still RSing, but strafes the tiniest bit side to side while doing so.

Yeah this wasn't around really before I quit...or else I just didn't pay attention
It's quite simple, no mrb required.

I set my mouse scroll up to weapon 1 and down to weapon 2.

This might cause some issues though if you use scroll wheel to change weapons because changing weapons with out directly choosing a weapon is a lot slower (you have to wait for it to finish animation before change)


Once I did that it was so easy to do, didn't need much coordination. Only thing left for you to do now is learn when and when not to do it.

I don't think this is possible with mouse wheel, but I will try it.

Use sliding effect initiated by some dash to get a sort of sidestep thing going on...
... or you could go left-right-left/right-left-right while firing 3 shots, then move out of the way, which shouldn't be too hard physically assuming you reload using keyboard and not mouse.

I have an alternate setting for weapons 1 and 2 to be on scroll up and down, respectively, in addition to being on E and F. Also, my reload key is on caps lock. Walk in any direction without any difficulty rsing.

Okay....what keys do you use?

Pressing a/d weapon1/weapon2 and reload consecutively very fast may be easy with practice, but I'm not sure the best way to do it, as I said.

i do swap shot instead when strafing left annd right

I do it with default keys o.O But I prefer a move with more movement, Rhs - RS is slightly better, gets off 2 shots in quick sucession while making yourself harder to hit.
