| Member | Well, I've ran into a problem. I changed my mouse sensitivity loooong ago, and i got used to it. I really liked the setting. However, when I get a massive, i wanna do a 180 turn. Problem is, even if i slide my mouse all over my mouse pad, it wont go all the way to 180 degrees. So, i keep changing it until it can/does, but when i try to aim its ridiculous. Everything flies out of place, my crosshair goes crazy. My mouse pad aint that small/big, its just 8 inches diameter, so I'd like to know whether my mouse sensitivity should be really big so i can look around to my hearts content, or, should it be kidn of small to work well with aiming? |

| Newbie | I've always played with max sensitivity (it's actually still a bit low for me, I'm just too lazy to tweak it in the config file). It is a bit harder to aim with accuracy if you aren't used to it, but it is much more responsive for those fast paced situations that happen all the time. |

| Moderator | It's really a matter of preference. I've always played on the highest mouse sensitivity for the best mobilization. I mean, since you've played on a lower mouse sensitivity it's going to take you a while to get used to the new one, but you'll get there eventually. But yeah, the way I usually determine mouse sensitivity is if I can make a 180 degree turn without lifting my mouse off the mouse pad then it's good. Obviously you don't want to overdo it, but GunZ highest sensitivity isn't even all that high as compared to most FPS games. |
