| Gunzfactorian Patriot | I've been wondering for a while now what effect different crosshairs have on the way you play. I've been thinking of using or making a custom crosshair and wondered what peoples thoughts are on what crosshairs help your game. I use the default 4 or 2 for a change. I find that 2 (actual crosshair) is pretty good for accuracy with weapons like rifles. I think 4 (circle) is more accomodating to SMG's or Shotties since they spray outward more. I haven't really tested this, its just my impression from using them. A lot of people seem to think that a simple dot is best, why is this? |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | dot = reflex aiming Xhair2 = aiming the fact is, a single dot (in my case colored red) is easily spotted while moving fast. u turn a hard left and BAM ur dot instantly fly's over the enemy. for me the dot makes reflex aiming easier. Xhair's that have a hole in it (like 2) i use when i wanna have an allround aim, im not using it for uber fast setups, but its rly accurate to aim wiht on long distances |

| Gunzfactorian | Crosshairs are used to help you aim. People think dots are good because when you use a dot you basically have no crosshair and therefore have to focus more on where your crosshair is actually placed on the screen if you want to hit well. So dots are helpful in a way but if you have good aim there is no reason to encumber yourself by using a dot. |
