| Gunzfactorian Patriot | EDIT: I could really use some help with explaining the principles behind angling massives and blocks. In the guide, I think it would help to explain the principles rather than going through every varriation. Understanding the principle makes it easier to apply IMO. HellSyn's explanation of parallels and massives (link bellow) seems fairly good to me, although perhaps needs some clarification. I also noticed that c3rb and Deviok disagree with it. Can anyone make this a little clearer? Or explain how HellSyn is wrong/right? HellSyn's Gladiator Tips [Oh yes another one] EDIT: I originaly used the term "T-style" because it was an old old old term used to refer to turtling and other defensive plays. Forget the name, call it a turtling guide or whatever. What im talking about is a guide for a defensive "style" of play that revolves around turtling. I hope this clears up any confusion. I'm not trying to suggest it is a new style in the way that k-style is a style blah blah blah. Firstly what is T-style? T-Style stands for turtle-style, it was once considered a stand alone style. It is actually a sub-style of K-style that revolves around definsive plays and, typically, massives. I've not noticed a guide that specifically deals with turtle tactics and moves and was wondering if I should make one? I'm fairly good at turtling but i don't pretend to know everything so I would need some people who do know more to give input on it. Last edited by An Amateur; 04-12-2008 at 04:15 AM. | Newbie | It is a "style" of sorts whether anyone thinks so or not, as it does take a fair bit of skill, as well as knowledge of instas/juggles to be a good turtler. Might not qualify as a style but a good guide with your techniques would probably help people out. If you can kill someone with ease who cares if they call you a noob afterwards, tell them to figure out a way to counter it and not be a dumb ass, slash straight on, eat a massive, then die via pb or insta. ![]() |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Back in I-gunz a few years ago it was very much considered a style. And i personaly think it still is. Although its more of a style of play rather than a style in the sence that k-style is a style. I wasn't thinking of just making a guide of moves, more a guide on the tactics. Although if I find the information I need to do so I may go more in depth into certain techniques. Also scubas guide is stickied so no need to bump it =P |
