| Gunzfactorian | I know aim is everything in GunZ and i guess i'm pretty decent at aiming. My question is: Should a person that wants to take their aim to the next level sacrifice movement speed for higher hit rate? By sacrificing movement i mean slowing down my rss a bit to make sure i hit the guy. Or is it smarter to just practice aim just rssing and shyt @ full speed. While I'm at this I'm going to ask another question: Some pros i see in duel, they sometimes just walk side to side rsing/spamming (with decent+ aim). I know sometimes its actually a good idea to do that. They say one spams when: 1. theyre a fair distance away from you 2. just coming out from behind a hiding spot 3. They just fcking suck and are extremely predictable I just want to clarify with ppl on gzf when it actually IS a good time to spam. Once again thank you all for ur advice. | Gunzfactorian Soldier | In 1v1, you can move slower and aim like a beast, it gonna work pretty good. But when you playing in a TDM, cwar or w/e, it's pretty more usefull to move faster because there's more than 1 person who's shooting you at the time. |

| Member | Well, I don't really play Ijji anymore on account of being banned for "hacking", but I just to just spam to the point that my rrs is mega fast. Then I took the time to practice aiming with rockets and such. I suck at explaining things, but I tried to help. ^^ |

You can't spam them forever, and chances are you'll only hit 5-6/10 if you spam them full speed and your target is moving. I'd suggest that you try to aim a bit more but keep your shots relatively quick and well placed. Another good strategy is to get yourself/your opponent into a position where your shots can not and will not miss, and 0 aiming is required. Last edited by Blindside; 02-18-2008 at 11:01 PM. |

![]() | To be on-topic: Switch between fast RSS/bad aim and slow RSS/good aim. Like, if you just wasted 5 bullets doing some weak hits you suddenly go and do three shots really good if he lets his guard down. Works for me most of the time. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | well u dont really need to sacrifice that much speed for aim but i;d say shoot only when u no ur going to hit..as in cws/1v1s u will often find urself being shot while reloading, you will wanna use ur ammo to the best of its ability. also spamming is good but when ur getting hit too much u should stop, just stop somewhere while moving and spam is good. lots of ppl spam in duels, thats all you need to do..thats why its not used for 1v1 |

![]() | Personally, I prefer aiming over spam. So sometimes I start to rss, but instead of shooting, I keep walking for a bit in that direction 'til I can mark a leadshot before continuing moving. If I'm fighting a higher pinger or someone whom I can't predict as easily, then I tend to spam more by either rhsing faster, rssing faster, or walking back and forth and spamming for all I'm worth. It really just depends on the situation, but more importantly, your gut feeling. Shooting one less time and walking for a full second to squeeze off that perfect shot half a dash ahead against someone rssing is more effective than firing twice and missing both (or dealing almost negligible damage). Besides, having 5/10 aim makes you look much more pro than 2/10. (That's my average hit rate against a normal k-styler's hit rate, approximatedlyful.) |
