| Gunzfactorian Soldier | When your first getting your yoyo down, 1) Make sure that you are pulling out your gun at the exact same time as you jump. Obvious, yes, but if you mess this part up, you're gonna tumble 2) Like Chained said, watch your gun as you jump. When your character finishes pulling it out, dash. After a while (albeit, a long while), you'll just memorize the time it takes for the "pull out" to happen and you'll be yoyoing like a pro :D |

| Gunzfactorian Postcount Demi-God | I've only ever taught people in-game. I have never agreed with watching your character when your learning how to yoyo because that isn't going to help you out when you need to start shooting at opponents while using the move. The easiest way to learn is to find someone who can already perform the move flawlessly and ask them to help you with the timing ingame. Just get them to stand in front of you and tell you if your timing is early or late. lol.... the chatboxes for those training sessions are always funny. Slap: early Slap: early Slap: early Slap: late Slap: early Slap: late Slap: nice one Slap: early It's how I've taught countless people how to do the move. Edit: Oh yeah, and when learning the move myself... after I could do it continuously left to right on the ground, I started learning it in more difficult places, like on ledges and stuff. After some practice you can actually consistently yoyo ontop of even the lightposts in town. |
