Why is the Wiki broken?

This saddens me. I was going to edit some things, then this popped up when I went to the Wiki's main page.

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/gunzfact/public_html/wiki/includes/Exception.php on line 140"

I am sure everybody already knows about it, but I want to know why it's like this and why it's not fixed.
