1v1 nice aim no win. look @ phantom lag (tophat vs somedoryguy)

so ok we beat this clan jewel or something and the guy wants a 1v1.

next set of cws we post you can see us complain about this guy's "phantom lag." he showed a pretty good 40-60 ping entire time.

note that the lag is not consistent. in one round i kill him within like my first 4 shots, while other times I pretty much shove cartridge after cartridge up his cramhole and he's like "blue"

we 1v1.
it's awfully hilarious because of how much I hit him, and how little he seems to die. watch the last round in the first replay and you can see me score (i think 4) pbs in a row on him (and he's like hardly moving), plus more shots after, and he doesn't die.

we 1v1 again. i'm winning mostly but then he catches up, and again, my shots are for naught. in the second replay I tried leading. (thus all the just-off shots) I -NEVER- practice leading. my clan, on principle, only cws USA. it sucks when you have to lead like this on someone in the USA. watch for a lot of my kills where I miss by one or two figures, yet he dies.

In these replays, I actually do worse when I try harder. When I try and dodge bullets, I end up where I was a second before due to the nature of lots of FSing and HSing, and the lag does me in because he could be missing on his screen but hitting me on mine.

i complain about his crazy weird phantom lag, which we had been experiencing throughout the entire cw (early on he's caught in a corner, if clanmates told correctly, together we scored over 10 pbs on him, and then he killed us. rofl.) and then afterwards he goes on "JUS ACEPT IT U LOSE IM BETTER UR NOT THAT GOOD " etc etc etc etc.

No buddy, if you had real 30 ping, none of this bs phantom lag, you definitely wouldn't be better.

This is why igunz sucks. not only do shots fail to count when attempting to consider lag, but even if you try and make up for lag, you have no way of telling if you hit or not.

Before you even THINK about saying "GET BETTER COMPUTER GET BETTER BLAH BLAH GUNZ ALWAYS LAGS ETC" .. WATCH THE REPLAY. Then consider 50 ping. Then consider what 50 ping is in NORMAL ONLINE GAMES. 50 ping is negligible at worst, it should be spot on save for a few pixels. In warrock or any other shooting game, I hit plays consistently with 100+ ping.. 50 ping is like there were right there playing with you.
